Anyone else "confined to barracks" because of the icy state of the pavements?

I'm just finding it an absolute nightmare! I live alone and both my parents are fairly far away, so I can't go out nor can I get any food. Thankfully I stocked up last week, but it's just all so disorganised. The food delivery shops won't deliver either. What's especially infuriating is that my road appears to be the least cared for in the entire area! When we had that period where there was little snow, I managed to get out and couldn't believe that all roads nearby looked barely touched by the snow, whereas my road was still a good few inches under it. We have quite a few disabled residents in the street, plus it's a crescent so there's no through traffic. Ah well.....roll on summer :rolleyes:Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.0
