Yes it's a terrible shame that some of us have children who have a disability and are unable to work full time  Would you like to swap?
No I wouldnt, maybe I should have phrased it differnet,
But I have a friend who doesnt work (and never intends to) and is on benefits and she gets this, and that is what gets to me.

Sorry I was very harsh, I'm just a little sensitive at times, but tbh your friend needs to be getting a disability premium or have a child under 5 before she is able to get a CWP.
Its ok
Yes she has a child
But I am due my first baby in 8 weeks and I wont get it, its just the fiddlers that annoy me lolDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Yes I believe people on Pension Credit get it, but make sure you ring his local jobcentre plus about it, not the pension service.Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Hi there
Don't now how old your son is but if you claim any benefit such as Income based JSA, and receive Child tax credits for him and have the severe disability premium then your son should then be eligible.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Not CWP payment related as such but hubby has a job interview tomorrow........if he is lucky he will start in about 2-3 weeks time........:T, it will be lovely to come off benefits, then no more chasing up on CWP etc etc.......:j:D.
Of course we appreciate the CWP, with living on benefits with a mortgage to pay for as well have been a big help.
My Gas bill was actually £300 this quarter so these payments will be a godsend towards them.
I am asthmatic and so is my autistic son.
Good luck to you all.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I'm just wondering if we'll get it for my hubby, he's on IB?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
