Cold weather payments: quickly check if you're entitled

Yes due 4 and received 0 up to now, although they did ring us back to say the first payment should have been received in the account by last week, and now it should be in the account by next Monday or earlier, so am checking on the account a few times a day online.;)

I am a carer for my disabled daughter i work part time and am various benefits, I have just checked my post code and i should have recieved 2 fuel payments.... but have i oh no.... I totally agree that it costs more to heat the house than i get a week in help.

Rung yesterday and apparantly my postcode hasnt had any triggers yet but looking on the postcode search its 2. Oh and My next door neighbours with the same postcode have had there second one today. :mad:

It really annoys me, I spent ages on the phone to them to get pasted around to about 4 different people for them all to say the same.

just checked as my husband receives DLA and incapacity benefit. they refuse to give it to you unless you are on a means tested benefit. really sucks as he cold receive £50 in the allowance

Do you get Income support or JSA if not you won't be entitled to a CWP

Do you receive a premium on your IS? I am guessing that you do if you receive it as well an Incapacity? If not sure, what rate of DLA do you get?

I get dla higher rate and esa income related,3 payments have been triggered,should i get them?

I meet the criteria for receiving cold wether payments, but as to date i have not received any. I have done a Post code srearch which shows i am due two payments. There is no telephone contact to be able to chase payments has anyone had the same problem? or can help?

I wouldnt mind so much iof when you phoned they said "erm actually I dont know" but instead they palm you off with a load of rubbish and expect you to believe it

If you are 100% sure you meet the criteria, then you get in touch with the benefit delivery centre who pay your benefit.
