Hello all I got the letter yesterday but it was for my old address I have my mail redirected ( just moved house )
I'm no longer on the Ebico tariff as they don't support my type of heating I have storage heating now and no gas( missing the gas ) and no key meter i'm on total heating with total control with scottish hydro so I called them up and explained the situation and they are going to send me a cheque for £12 to put towards my bill :jI was very surprised
:TNot going to bury my head in sand any longer

I was telling a friend about this, they pay by monthly DD.
This is the answer they got from Ebico
Thank you for your email.
In recognition of the prolonged very cold weather, all EquiGas pre-payment
metered customers have been sent a £12 credit to put onto their gas meter.
This recognises the fact that if ppm gas customers run-out of credit then
they will have no heating and, in this prolonged period of very cold
weather, this could have serious consequences for their health.
If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact
us.

Perhaps they should change their website, direct from their front pageWith Ebico, our customers come first. All customers, equally.
That’s the only reason we’re here.
Where has the Ebico Company Representative gone? She's not posted here since November (yet they are happy to have recently added a quote from MSE Martin to their front page)."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
