Ebico Southern Electric FREE £12 Gas

Dont know if this is of any use to anyone but I have just received a letter from Southern Elsectric (with Ebico for Gas prepayment) offering me £12 free gas to help in the cold spell, All you have to do is take your card to the post office and they scan the barcode on the letter and credit it to you.

So, if your with Ebico make sure you check the post before you go and buy gas!

I received the £12 letter too (am with Ebico) and warmly welcomed as it's hard to keep enough credit on the meter as it's so cold!!!

I know British Gas have been giving £20 out to some customers not sure if this applies to all tariffs

What are the qualifying criteria for the payment?

I have not had a letter, but pay by direct debit with Ebico. Wonder what the criteria are? Hopefully get a credit on my next bill.

I saw a freind had this and I pay DD as well and out of curiosity rang the ebico number that goes to southern, and spoke to them after he spoke to a section and a manager he came back and said they would send a £12 cheque out to me but I said could they just put the credit onto our account so give them a call

I've used £5 already of the £12 in 2 days. Hard to get place warm in this colder than normal weather!!!

My son just rang me and said he has just had the same letter from swalec. He is on a pre-payment meter.
