    1) OH in permanent and well paid job (pension, lunch allowances etc)
    2) moved house- same area but bigger and some outside space although more expensive
    3) student loan payments of £200+ now being taken from my wages
    4) student loan payments of £120+ now being taken from OH wages
    5) done well at work, up for pay increase around Nov that might be quite significant and could be backdated
    6) still need to diet and lose weight- no progress made!
    7) debt-busting focus was lost for a while- need to get back on track and start over-paying/PAD- totals to follow
    8) lots of expensive events to go to over next year
    9) aiming for DF by Christmas- this date has been pushed back by a few months but moving/changes in wages/lack of focus have taken their toll.

New vision: Christmas Day in our new home, debt-free and happy.

    Credit Card- £325
Friend's Catalogue- £349 INTEREST FREE FOR A YEAR BUT AIM TO CLEAR QUICKLY
    Overdraft- £2000
Old account- £774 NO PAYMENTS MADE IN 2 YEARS, FROZEN INTEREST, NO CCA

    Total: £4548

As I got closer to getting DF, I relaxed and eased off the pace of clearing debt instead of increasing it! Need to adjust this!

Ok so I have many expensive things to fit in to the next few months:

    1) £115 bill THIS PAY MONTH
    2) £150 approx job on new home (essential)- OH to pay half THIS PAY MONTH
    3) £350 wedding- travel and hotel, looking for cheapest options THIS PAY MONTH
    4) £200- hen weekend for my good friend- spa/hotel/night out/dinner out the whole lot NEXT PAY MONTH
    5) £100- OH birthday gift THIS PAY MONTH
    6) £200- new furniture to finish off one room in house THIS PAY MONTH

YIKES that's a lot. I'm sure there will be a way to cover it all- just scrimping and saving. OH may have to cover some of my cost of the wedding as too many things are falling within the same pay month

Can't post an SOA as my salary isn't confirmed as yet, plus student loan means that my figures are out.

Will do when I can. I have:

    cancelled lovefilm

    cancelled netflix

    cancelled checkmyfile

    cancelled gym

cancelled charity contributions (feeling guilty though!)

cancelled creditexpert (card details changed so membership lapsed, will start this again though as it helped me)

have applied for small credit card to start rebuilding my credit- doubt I'll get approved

have applied for joint account with OH to use as our bills account (each pay a set amount into it each month to cover rent/utilities/insurances/council tax/tv license/internet/food shopping)- doubt we'll get approved, but I would love to have all the DD/SO each month come from one place that's not my personal bank account!
