The vit c ones can be confusing - as there are 2 bottles which look identical, one has 30 tablets, one has 90. The 90s go through at £2.25, the 30s at 99p.

Haha, great minds and all that!

It's not profit, its 200 points + vitamins for an outlay of 99p :D

You could say you profit in Boots points however ;p but you're basically buying 200 Boots points (+ Vitamins) for 99p

It is a profit if you were going to spend money in boots in the first place, so that money stays in your pocket (minus the outlay on the vitamins).

Not everything in Boots is worth buying in Boots, and significant savings can be made by shopping around, however this is a good deal even if you don't want the vitamins especially if you would have bought in the 75% sale anyhow. My 3for2 christmas toy purchases this year were the cheapest I'd found anywhere, so it's worth saving points for that too.

Even if you are buying shampoo, toothpaste etc. at the full boots price it's probably still worth doing this deal unless those items are available elsewhere at less than half the boots price?

Went in today and the machine didn't offer me any vouchers. :(

Next time this happens just reach into your bag, look surprised and tell them that you've forgotten your purse and will have to leave the items... that's what I do when an anticipated glitch/misprice goes wrong! :D

    HTH.

Ah! Handy tip! I tried the vitamin voucher with my double points and it didn't work. I'd bought enough vitamins for two transactions and was really annoyed I didn't manage to wiggle out of the transaction.
  • Take a look at the website vitaminD3world. It has links to a very neat microtablet version of vitamin D. It is great value and they offer a delivery guarantee as their small bottles get through customs with no problems
  • No vouchers for any member of my family :(
