Boots loophole! Spend 99p on vitamins, get £2 back

It is a profit if you were going to spend money in boots in the first place, so that money stays in your pocket (minus the outlay on the vitamins).
Not everything in Boots is worth buying in Boots, and significant savings can be made by shopping around, however this is a good deal even if you don't want the vitamins especially if you would have bought in the 75% sale anyhow. My 3for2 christmas toy purchases this year were the cheapest I'd found anywhere, so it's worth saving points for that too.
Even if you are buying shampoo, toothpaste etc. at the full boots price it's probably still worth doing this deal unless those items are available elsewhere at less than half the boots price?
EXACTLY. I only did this because I was going to buy stuff in the 75% sale, and with the vitamin deal I got my sale stuff for half price again, or 87.5% off! :beer:jazzconfused wrote: »does anyone know if boots stop giving out his voucher? theres none in my store today.
There's a rumour that Martin mentioning it in the weekly email (did he also mention it on GMTV?) may have resulted in Boots withdrawing the offer.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Seems to have been withdrawn from the ACM - that's what happens when it is broadcast in a newsletter I suppose. The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0

It may have been Martin's helpful newsletter that bought this to BOOTS attention or .......
It could have been that people were going into BOOTS and using the BOOTS advantage machines and printing off multiple vouchers to use in BOOTS. BOOTS staff were alerted because there were so many of the damn things in the tills, all with the same name on them and same date....can you see anything suspicious ............
Or maybe they just read the newsletter!:money: Martin Lewis Rocks!:money:0 -

Yes, but do they all have unique barcodes to identify that they are all different vouchers? The till won't accept the same voucher twice so they surely know that it is their own ineptitude that caused this. :rotfl:Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
