[title=http://images2.moneysavingexpert.com/images/dp/wtd_underline.gif]wtd_icon.gifWhat's the deal?[/title]
Boots is offering Advantage Card holders 200 points ( worth £2) when you buy any vitamins in store. The cheapest cost 99p, so you'll be £1 in profit, effectively making them free!

[title=http://images2.moneysavingexpert.com/images/dp/wtd_underline.gif]wtd_icon.gif How to get it[/title]

Just pop your card in the Advantage machine before 16 Feb in store and print away. You're only allowed three vouchers per customer but some MoneySavers have reported getting more than that. Read the thread below for feedback.

Advantage card machines are 'Extra Offers Kiosks' that looks like a cash machine, where you slot in your Advantage Card and get a variety of printable coupons. (See Boots Treasure Trove for full info).

Only one voucher can be used per transaction though.

The vouchers can be used on all vitamins, but if you get some for less than £2, they're effectively free, and you can even make a profit! Here's a some of the vitamins under £2:

  • Boots Multivitamin tablets (30 capsules) 99p
  • Boots Essential Evening Primrose Oil 300mg (60 capsules) 99p
  • Boots 498mg Cod Liver Oil Capsules (30) £1.99
  • Boots Vitamin B Complex Tablets (60) £1.99
  • Boots Essentials Garlic Oil 2mg (90) £1.99
  • Boots Multivitamins, Minerals & Iron Tablets (30) £1.99
  • Boots Multivitamins Vegetarian Tablets (30) £1.99
  • Boots Complete A-Z Vitamins (30) £1.99

[/title]

The offer is on until 16 Feb '10 and is available in all stores.

It's also worth knowing there's a 3 for 2 offer on vitamins on as well, which you can use in conjunction with the coupons. Yet you can only use one voucher with that - whereas if you bought the goods in separate transactions while it means less outlay you get less points.

For tips and tricks on saving at Boots read the Boots Treasure Trove.

P.S. Thanks to crazy_girl below for the top spot.

    Took a couple of items to the till thinking maybe they hadn't altered the sels, but all went through at half price.

    Next time this happens just reach into your bag, look surprised and tell them that you've forgotten your purse and will have to leave the items... that's what I do when an anticipated glitch/misprice goes wrong! :D
