I've just come back from the hospital, DD cried on and off through the visit as I knew she would but she's ok, DS asked lots of questions and then sat down with Nintendo DS and we didn't hear from him again! DH is in ALOT of pain, I had to get a nurse and ask what was going on, results due in tomorrow morning so we should know then hopefully and he was given stronger pain relief [Tramadol with Morphine to back it up if he needs it] he's just sent a text to say he's pacing the corridors now trying to see if walking helps. I have to confess to being very worried now but hopefully tomorrow will dawn with better news

    Helen x

Hugs Helen - at least you know he's in the best place now so if the pain does get worse they can sort it straight away and hopefully by tomorrow they'll know what's wrong.

    stranger things have happened:p

Sleeping that long is not normal though, I was doing that and more:o before I got my thyroid checked, maybe you should...and yes I know all about your aversions to the NHS:p

not in my house!! *slaps jinky with a wet old ladies slipper insole*

I know sleeping that long isn't normal.. but that is what I do when I feel crappy.. I sleep.. Thyroid was checked not so long back and is fine.. I'm not anaemic any more than usual (amazingly) though my iron 'store' is quite low.. same as usual. I haven't eaten anything I am allergic to.. unless I have developed a new allergy which wouldn't surprise me.

I 'think' I may have a touch of a water infection but it isn't anything I can't fight off on my own and isn't painful or anything untoward. I don't have rabies, headlice, botulism or headache.. I just need sleep. OH suggested SAD.. but that just makes you miserable it doesn't make you feel physically unwell. The oddest part is there is nothing specific I just know I'm not right.. other than in the head.. :p

I've managed food shop and thats it. My ears and throat are sore, nose running, head thumping and starting to get aches and pains, add in an awful cough. I should have went for the flu jab. The last time i had the flu, i lost over a stone in 2 weeks.

Hubby cleared one of his credit cards today and contacted another one to sort out a payment plan, so he's over the moon. I'll try and sort my mess out tomorrow.

has he had pain round his middle at all?
    or felt sick,
or that being sick would help him feel better?
because it sounds kinda like what I had:cool:

The pain is between his belly button [hate them things] and his bits [don't hate them] :rotfl:and is deep inside, he was only sick once and its sharp stabbing pain that doubles him up and has brought him to the floor

I took my kids to WDW when they were 2 and 4 and we have just been again now they are 4 and 6 - there is no age too young despite what some may say. My eldest went when she was 2 and remembers all sorts. We've stayed at many of the properties in WDW resorts and have travelled all around Florida - Clearwater, St Petes, Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Cocoa Beach (no wonder I'm on here now) - we are looking to hire a villa for 4 weeks in December 2011 - PM me if you want any advice, have any questions etc

Not far at all! whats it like where you are?

Its ok on the main roads, but up some of the hills and side streets its not so good.

I couldnt get the car up the street so had to park round the back of my house. But its passable most places. What about you guys? Ive checked on the Met Office website and Newport and Monmouthshire areas have been forecast 10-15cm snow tonight.

Flying related: Ive decluttered a bag full of paperwork which had piled up throughout december whilst I was helping my uncle and have shredded some stuff and got a load for filing but have also found a few things which need attention, so I have kept those together, and will either take them to work with me tomorrow, or will deal with them when I take a lunch hour tomorrow from home (dependent on the weather!).

Ive also played 'Go Fish' and 'Math War' and decluttered little one off to bed. Little ones uniform is ready just in case there is school.....but I secretly hope not! :D
