gunsandbanjos wrote: »Congratulations from me too Jill:T I will echo what Valli has said with regard to the ages. Not only too small for a lot of the rides but there is a HUGE amount of walking involved. I wouldnt take a 4 year old. Would probably wait til about 6ish. My parents took us twice when we were in our teens and it was amazing:j More chance the little one will remember it if they are a little older too.
Undecided what to do.
We thought if we went when wee one was still 3 then we could get away with making her go in a stroller if she was tired whereas she'd be less likely to do so at 4. Were also worried that at 8 DS would want to go on the bigger stuff that the other 2 wouldnt want to go on, oh and erm yes I DONT WANT TO WAIT :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rotfl:
But then again yes we would have saved a heap more money.
I told DH we could do it in 1 year and then start saving to do it all again when they are older and can go on the other rides LOL
And yes littley would remember it better.
We are hoping to go all out and do 3 weeks in a villa (cheaper than an apartment or hotel) and do lots of lounging around the pool as wellHavent had a decent holiday since our honeymoon 8 years ago, could so do with a treat and some R&R.
But oh the joy of even having to think about deciding :T:T:T:T:TJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

I echo it too, we were there last year and the walking nearly killed me
Loads of the rides your littley wouldnt be able to get on, and not all the parks have "small" stuff to get them excited either
I would wait as well
Hope we are not putting a downer on your idea though:o just dont want you not to get the best experience for all the family for your money;)
We decided we would look at all the parks carefully, decide how much they would go on, decide how many days/half days we would want/need and base it around that.
As I said above we want to get a villa because we want the freedom to come and go, do half days in a park if need be, laze by the pool while wee one sleeps and others play/swim/do playstation/watch telly/whatever. Not feel the need to do a whole park in one day, revisit the good ones a second time and so on. We would definitely do a day of prak - a days rest - a day of park - a days rest - hence the 3 weeks. I've been myself years and years ago and know how exhausting it is, I have very realistic expectations of how much to fit in (its just hubby I have to convince, he has a tendency to shoot for the moon...)
But I would just love the girls to see the princesses and the castle and just experience the magic, and for DS to see the movie stuff and they would all love the waterparks and the animal parks. And we want to do a day trip to the Kennedy Space Center. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH so exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Oh, I'm near Llantrisant so not all that far!!!!
Has anyone ever heard of European Vacations????? Had an email from them saying I had won a £600 holiday to Italy for 2....BUT nned to pay £20 admin and booking fee......is it a con????0 -
I feel incredibly crap today... like the day after you've had a bad tummy bug and your stomach feels hungry and full of air, lightheaded and having dizzy spells.. and you don't care if you never eat again.. thing is.. I have eaten.. proper food and everything and I am just feeling crappy still.. it fades for a while after eating then comes back.. and I am tired.. so incredibly unbelievably tired.. I am sleeping maybe 14 hours a day!!! Think I may just have to feed the children and go back to bed! Or, in view of the fact that is where I have been all week, maybe that shold be COME back to bed.. oh.. and my tonsils are off again.. left one is bad.
There is definitely something amiss here..
You will strangle me for this, but are you being sent another blessing??
koolkid I would iron the contents of his pants :rotfl:
tooch sounds like a con. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
