It's something you just have to go through I'm afraid. I had a time when the night sweats were horrendous but 3 years on, it's settled down. I still run warm but not as bad as it was about three years ago. I didn't bother taking anything - just altered my diet slightly to include foods which contain phytoestrogens like broccoli and cabbage.
Have decluttered the muck from me into a bath of lovely warm water. Will make my sandwiches in a moment then head for workI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I see Im not the only one that has boxes of 'stuff' on the landing then
Will do some declutter of the bedroom floor, then have to get ready to drive to midWales. Be back Thursday morning (I hope) ready for some more decluttering and cleaning.

Morning folks.
Zoe - congrats. Date free vibes coming your way.
Careful - I found wearing pj's helped cos it stops you sticking to the sheets. If it got really bad I used to get up & make myself a cuppa. It passes honestly. & if you have a memory foam mattress or bed topper it will make things worse as it retains your body heat so u can't cool down.
Helen - Hugs hope they soon have your husband sorted.

benW Also full tank of petrol - if you get caught in snow, you'll be able to keep engine running for heating. Cat Litter is a good alternative to carrying salt for if you get stuck in anywhere.
Thanks for the answers about hot flushes. Am miserable as this batch has gone on for about a month and am desperate for a decent night of sleep.
Will get moving in a minute.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

DS was due back to school today but it is closed for only the 2nd time in the 7 years he has been there. he is currently laid in our bed watching tv but having checked todays list he is going to have to get out of it soon....! will try and persuade/bribe him to tidy and clean his bedroom but he seems more keen on going sledging.0
