You only get a star if you complete all three levels. But well done for having achieved level 1 todaycaledoniaquine wrote: »Hello can I join you, I really need to rid my house of clutter and have a better cleaning system.

In that case you need to make sure you don't use a harsh abraisive. As the others have said, if you start by wiping it down with surface cleaner or vinegar and water, it should gradually get better (wipe it ever time you pass). The removable bits (which are usually plain metal ) can be soaked in bio washing powder or soda crystals and then scrubbed with a metal pan scourer. Old-fashioned elbow grease is ultimately going to be your solution, so once its clean make sure you keep it that way!Content makes poor men rich; discontentment makes rich men poor. Benjamin Franklin0

recipe please - it sounds delish!
DH home early for once so supervising bath time, but boy is it noisy!!
Have plodded on through the afternoon and list is slowly shrinking..DS has been a star and cleared out loads of stuff :j....so his room is looking better and we still have the desk to look at, and all the clothes. I'll not see him much this week after school - he is apparently only playing there! :rotfl:
library - [STRIKE]find & return books[/STRIKE] (found but not open until tomorrow)
p.mag - issue invoices, start 2009 accounts (in year is done - need to add on last 4 months)
nct - sort garage bits, update treasurer, get out NNS lists & make a date for planning meeting, speak to HS, RBC forms up to date?
DS's bedroom (clothes try on, new lamp, change bedding, hoover)
Finish filing in new calendar & hang
Right best go finish prepping dinner, then calendar first..
Moam
how lovely - a Freegle collection lady who works in a fruit shop has just brought me some strawbs to say thank you for the item (wellies) - there are some lovely folks around..Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
Been to see mum today and she was fine. Did a couple of hours at my voluntary job but left early due to the weather conditions. All the pavements and side roads are solid ice. Looks set to worsen over the next couple of days. The walking boots I have are quite good on the snow and ice. Have done quite a bit of the kitchen and will finish it tomorrow. The cat is daft as he is lying beside the gas fire which isnt on but wont lie here beside the radiator. Oh and dailies have been done too. Im off to look at soup recipes now.0

Quick visit to update my list - managed to get a fair bit done of it. Popped up the shop and managed to pick up various meats at reduced prices so have got a menu planner (in head) for the rest of the week:D Spent 2 hours in bedroom emptying KH's wardrobe and drawers and depositing them in 2 suitcases - DD came in and *wondered* why I was folding them and not just throwing them in :rotfl::rotfl:
Tidied through my underwear drawers and made use of some extra space - still lots of rearranging to do up there though
LadyL - this is why I have been quiet todayHope you are ok. Hugs for you

Afraid I got nothing done today as feeling really carp. One thing about being a Flylady is I now forgive myself for the bad days as Istill making more of an effort.
If I haven't even got myself anything to eat, I think I can forgive myself for not cleaning the kitchen.
Start again tmorrow.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
