Gee I'm unfit - skiing muscles really aching now - I think I need to do 15 minutes everyday (that is if I can still walk tomorrow)! Time to prep dinner as I've been hoiked off the board by DS2.

    Hi all
    00020121.gif newbies and retuners

While you lot have all been gabbing, I left you on p2 and caught up on p16, I have been trying to live up to my new signature. So I delegated:rotfl: OH did the kitchen, DS1 & DS2 did their bedroom, while DD and I did the livingroom. All Christmas stuff now down and boxed and put past with some retired to the bin. Cards recycled with other lot of recycling. Bathroom cleaned and WM giving it big licks, NOT that I'm one to boast.;)

Finally decluttered and wiped down all the kitchen work surfaces, so quite pleased with myself :j

I think doing this with others looking on, so to speak, is going to work!

Will try to do the kitchen floor today too, then see what comes in the 'to do' list tomorrow. Wont be able to do anything on Wednesday because have a work appointment that means leaving home on Tuesday afternoon and not getting back till Wednesday evening - snow permitting, that is! Might end up stuck somewhere and not get there/home at all

Definitely crows. Maybe he's trying to scare away other birds...very strange. Spooky in fact.
Why not go and ask? He may be very hungry? Or is he a gamekeeper? It's an odd time of year to be trying to scare birds off... and this method doesn't actually work anyway  its just superstition.

In that case you need to make sure you don't use a harsh abraisive. As the others have said, if you start by wiping it down with surface cleaner or vinegar and water, it should gradually get better (wipe it ever time you pass). The removable bits (which are usually plain metal ) can be soaked in bio washing powder or soda crystals and then scrubbed with a metal pan scourer. Old-fashioned elbow grease is ultimately going to be your solution, so once its clean make sure you keep it that way!

It's starting to get cold... so I need to close the windows. Study floor is clear. Most of stock decanted - I'm just draining the bones etc in a sieve to get the last bits out, then I can wash up the SC and get the casserole going.

I need to decide whether I'm going to brave the gym tonight or not... The drive and road are still white with frost, so I assume it hasn't made it above freezing today.

Scared - Congrats, hope you and little bump are ok

Question - not fly related - Kids have been given a Wii for Xmas from Nana and Grandad, can I use the Wii Fit disc without the Wii board as I want to do some exercise but can't afford over £70 for the board and disc

Have done a 5 min picking up session in the LR...MAY do a bit of ironing now ...

helen jelly...I think there are 1 or 2 games that can be done without the board....how have you got the disc without the board though?
  • urgh - I hate chasing up tel calls & emails, but all done/left so updating my list

[STRIKE]library - find & return books [/STRIKE](found but not open until tomorrow)
p.mag - issue invoices, start 2009 accounts (in year is done - need to add on last 4 months)
nct - sort garage bits, update treasurer, get out NNS lists & make a date for planning meeting, speak to HS, RBC forms up to date?
DS's bedroom (tidy, clothes try on, new lamp, change bedding, hoover)
Finish filing in new calendar & hang

OK time to lever DS away from Disney

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

And please don't answer if it's not legit... I so don't want to know (work-related) and it might possibly cause problems with the 'illegal post' category...

    Hi

I haven't got the disk but you can buy them from all major retailers seperately [sp?] which is why I was wondering if they had to go together or could be used without the board
