    Penguin83 - I don't live too far from Leeds, it's very very cold but main roads are clear. Roads like mine (little mews) are like sheet ice. Weather says we might have a snow shower or too but nothing to get excited about.

    Afternoon all - have tried to catch up. Been murder here at work, wish I was still at home! Have 2 lots of newspapers advertisements to do and they are doing my head in, one with 60 properties in and an editorial on us (blooming picture of me and all which I'm not happy about!) and the other with 30. Trouble is the software each paper uses is rubbish and takes ages to either upload or you have to do all the imputting yourself which is labourious. Sorry for the moan!!!

    I've S/S'd kitchen before work and that's it for me I'm afraid

    Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter and wipe those worksurfaces
    Sweep and mop the floor[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    Clean the hob and oven
    [STRIKE]Clean out the fridge.. [/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Clean out the under sink cupboard.. new year, new cleaning products![/STRIKE] No new cleaning products needed. I have Five different types of surface cleaner....and more than one bottle of some....why are my surfaces never clean (except for right this minute:p)
    [STRIKE]Dust and deweb
    Wipe over the units and large appliances[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    wash windows
    Declutter the tops of the wall units
    [STRIKE]Sort recipe books/files[/STRIKE]
    Wipe over all the small appliances

    Hehe. Just need to sort my oven and its first ever star land for me! I also tidy my tins jars and packets cupboard and did the pots!

    Must get ready to go and pick OH up from work. We have 2 cars but can't get his off the drive because of the snow, it hasn't been a problem so far but we are both back at work tomorrow so it could be interesting!

    I seem to remember that this is an old trick to scare away other crows/ magpie like birds if they are being a pain. As for the children... tell them the crows are pretending to be bats? :confused:

    So far today have unpacked suitcases, gone to library to make notes, nearly slipped and gone AOT on the way back, and just going to get list to see how I've done on that...

    Hmm not looking too shabby. Just decluttering a coffee then I'm going to finish off. Grandparents arrive Thursday evening, so my flat will be sparkling by then!
