Argh, Just got in after morning work. Finished the shift, pulled my bag out of my locker and checked for my usual leave behinds (I'm slightly forgetful:o) realised I'd left my keys at home when rushing out this morning:mad:. Had to invade OH place of work and steal his. Still, I'm home now. Need a drink:coffee: then will get down to beeswax.

Yes please, yes please....I haven't the energy to read and tv really is bad. Whilst you're at it would it use too much of your fairy dust to make me instantly lose a stone in weight and perhaps put £100,000 in my bank account {Mudbath crosses everything....please say yes, please say yes}:rotfl:
Consider it done....never under-estimate the power of a fairy :rotfl: :rotfl: so long as you have sent that "package"xx
Poppy Hope you are doing ok today hun.....you have been a bit quiet xx
Rose Big hugs....hope you warm up soon xx

Now I'm going to get the dustpan and brush and sweep up in front of the wood burner as DH has this awful habit of chopping logs for the woodburner in the lounge in front of the burner. Drives me spare ! May even vacuum, we'll see but need a cup of tea before I do anything else.
Ooooh mine does that too! And in the kitchen! He also cuts up pallets for the woodburner on the deck outside the back door so that everyone trails sawdust into the house... And yes, our floor is chipped where he missed with the axe! Bless:A0 -

I am new here and recovering from surgery so cannot do much (any) bending - but can do some of the high level jobs
Need to alternate with rest, but there is only so much daytime TV I can watch:eek:
Don't try to do much at once hope you can find something interesting to watch.I read that as the builder did the quote and then cooked you a shepherd's pie....I was going to ask for his number....think i'm going mad (der).
One lot of washing put to dry and one one of washing in the washing machine. I'll do something else between 1 and 2 xx

Happy Birthday Quillion & Lil-me's DS1
I'm in this week of sorts. DD and I both have the winter vomiting bug so I'm taking it easy. Neither of us ate all day yesterday so we're both drained, DD would give Casper a run for his money. I'm hoping she'll be okay by the end of the week, but I'm not rushing to get her back to school, when she gets a tummy bug she gets it good style and it can last weeks  She's on boiled water & jelly for now, just given her some bread to see if she can keep that down.
Todays plans are basically to get caught up with the laundry still (nearly there, towels & sicky clothes to go now the sicky bedding has been done) and not much more.

do you have axe marks in the floor?!
No, not yet! He does it on the stone hearth or whatever you call it but the bits of wood go everywhere.
Cosmomo, yes, he chops wood outside too and then walks through the house with sawdust falling off all over the place. He wondered why I didn't want to hug him yesterday when he was covered in sawdust which had stuck to his wool jumper
This is very reassuring to see I'm not the only one who has this - thanks!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
