    Hello all

I'm at work and bored! Can't get into the swing of work again and have done very little! And i'm cold!!

I need to motivate myself: this is my only empty day and the rest of the week is full of meetings (except for Friday when i'm off). Plan is to get to the bottom of my inbox and file all the emails, plus I have a project plan to write....

jo - i still need to pm you...can you send me your email addy and then i can email you, will be easier!
polka - i will reply to your pm later, if you remember I come through Lewisham on my way to and from work.

Me too... and I'm even further behind than rach ;):p

Washing in TD... washing up done/DW loaded as appropriate... soup decanted for fridge/freezer .... and I'm having some for lunch (it's a nigel slater one with cannellini beans, leeks, celery, carrots, parsley etc) and its yummy :D. Need to decant the chicken stock, wash the SC bowl and make some sausage casserole of some kind. I'll also try to drag the hoover upstairs while it's light - it'll help me to keep moving and warm too!

    Done! :j

I think I'm right in saying I only have a bit of ironing left to do (1 of my tops and 4 for DS) so they can wait until I have a bit more.

Now I'm going to get the dustpan and brush and sweep up in front of the wood burner as DH has this awful habit of chopping logs for the woodburner in the lounge in front of the burner. Drives me spare ! May even vacuum, we'll see but need a cup of tea before I do anything else.

Getting online isn't the problem. Tried to use cc this morning and couldn't so went online to check and it didn't show today's payment, rang them and they said they couldn't see anything and to ring my bank. Rang my bank and they told me that everything seemed fine, then went away to check something, when they came back online they said the cc company had tried to take the money on the 31st (4 days early!) and my payment would probably now bounce back as there had been insufficient funds-there was today when they are meant to take the payment  Rang cc again to let them know what I had been told and to request they didn't charge me interest as I wasn't away of their policy to take money early (they never have before). They went away to check and said it looked as though the payment was going through today and to ring again in 2 days if it didn't show online. Why couldn't they check that before?
I then called my phone company to check something with my new account and couldn't understand the person on the other end of the phone! I have another call to make now and I can't face it.

Sorry sammiell but you did ask and I feel much better after my rant so thankyou very much x
