Oh I have to share this

    (I have trained DS well)

I am (erm) *cof* *cof* looking at a dating site on line and have just shown DS a piccie and DD came in to see what I was doing and DS said

She's looking at 'compare the market.com'

    Pretty accurate tbh

A NEW job for Pigpen to add - spring clean/prep for the nice weather;)
While they are NOT being used peg bags could be sorted, pegs washed and dried (then they don't mark your nice clean clothes) peg containers alao washed and cleaned and MOST IMPORTANTLY pegs left out on the line brought in before they are ruined - washed, dried and put away tidily!
    Buy new pegs if necessary!

    EXTRAS:
    Make draftexcluder
Meet up with T and learn how to do accounts so can apply for HB and CTB – going to be done after 1 Nov
Measure windows – go to Ikea to buy fleece blankets with holes in them
    Do shredding
    Sort out crackly phone
    Gardening – bulbs
rosepink you are very lucky that your Father has bailed you out again - the DHSS money might be the cold weather payments that are being issued just now for certain benefit people - above is the extras you posted this week and that item has been on your list since last October - you really need to get it sorted asap - it would really help with your financial problems - you might be elligible for help with your rent.

thats a good policy jjef - I used to buy a dye and run all the odd ones through it so I had them all the same colour even if they had different textures etc - under jeans it doesnt make a lot of difference.

right must go do stars - I got a bit sidetracked last time and didnt get there.

Rosep - glad the money for the rent has turned up -t hat's great! Hope you can feel a little less down now.... xx

My pheasant casserole is smelling divine.

Re adding financial/debt tasks to the Flylady list, sorry Piggers, Greenbee and Toots I'm not sure about that. That, surely, is what the "debt free wannabe" type threads are for? I think I would hate finance to become a regular topic or task here.

After all, the original OS way was no debt - or at the worst hire purchase for the odd major expense like a sofa - or the wedding ring down the pawn brokers until the next payday. Ebay can be included because that's part of decluttering the excess stuff from the house in the most lucrative way...and perhaps a celebratory message from someone if they've decluttered a credit card to zero.

In many ways, in my view, this is an escapist thread. It allows us to concentrate on our homes and making them nice for ourselves and our families, if we have any, regardless of any financial miseries we may or may not have. I personally would like to keep it that way.

    You're not the only one...

... luckily, apart from her OCD (matching pegs, ironing everything that she can get away with, alphabetising her CDs...) she's not that bad once you get used to her!

Having an attack of CBA around food... can't be bothered to make supper. However, I need to, so i'm going to go and cook some pasta and have it with some of the leftover sauce from the sausage casserole which is full of veggies. I obviously need to do a rough meal plan tomorrow. Hopefully I can manage without having to go shopping, but I could probably do with stocking up on green veg (although I've already started sprouting some beans for salad).

I have to say I agree with Soappie - my suggestions were for organisational things - because IMHO when you've been flying (for a while, admittedly) then you are probably more organised anyway, and being able to put your hands on an emergency kit or key information at a moment's notice is important. On this board we have MFWs and DFWs which are opposite ends of the spectrum IYSWIM.
(Personally I'm up the creek holding tightly onto paddles but hey...)
CD's alphabetically by artist - well - you know me - I match my pegs and I iron dusters! Did you expect any less?
(note to self) return car duster (washed and ironed, natch;)) to car - I use it for wiping the windows in winter. In summer I dust the fascia when I'm stuck in traffic!

The man has a voice like Green & Black's chocolate... oooooooooohhhhhh
