Well I've done a HHC in DD's bedroom - still quite a bit more that can be done but at least you can see the floor now - having said that she did tidy it up a bit last night herself so it is isn't as bad as it was yesterday.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

I only use my car every couple of months and it has always started so far!!
I was probably worrying unnecessarily as it started first time. We've just got to test OH's car now - his lives in the garage, mine on the road.... Off to take DD to a birthday party now, so not looking forward getting off the estate - we're in a backwater, so to speak, and the snow is still quite deep on the road. It's apparently OK once you get to the main road.sign up to the weightwatchers online deal
Have done plenty of tidying up, refereeing of arguments and discussions, and HHI.
Looking at the sky it won't be long before the snow starts again....
Take care all

I have tried in vain to buy a draft excluder (cost me £77 on Lakeland just looking for one tonight:eek:) and I have decided to get my sewing machine out and make one but will have to hunt the house for things to stuff it with, so fling your clean odd socks my way please:rotfl:
Lol - you mean you dont want dirty ones....:rotfl:
Ive got loads to send you....if you really want them, PM me your address xEmergency kit organisation - fuse wire, torches, matches, candles, first aid all sorted, batteries checked and list of emergency phone numbers in there so when something goes wrong we know where it is and can lay our hands on it...list of current meds family is on - just-in-case!
List of stuff to carry in car in bad weather - I am now adding a backpack - (because I had to carry stuff trudging through snow) and am considering bunging my sleeping bag in there so I can keep warm even if I have to knock on a door and beg for shelter!
everyone could photocopy cards (CC bank cards etc front and back; get copies of passports birth certificates etc)
and I could do with knowing which child has had what jab and when because I can never rembermber when I have to complete those fornms for school trips!
These are all really good ideas.....can we have these please?? xx
Well so far today I have made blueberry pancakes, decluttered my front and back paths of 6 inches of snow and ice, walked 2 miles to get grit from the local bins only to find they were all empty, came home again and used just ordinary table salt to sprinkle my paths and steps. I hope it works as my back path and steps are an absolute deathtrap.
Anyway, Im exhausted now, my feels absolutely broken and Im starving!!!!
So Im going to find some food and run a bath xxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Well I was gonna do some today but have ended up dog sitting as Dad has fallen over and has suspected broken shoulder. You don't bounce well when you're 85. Am quite concerned as he tends to go shocky when he falls and bleeds a lot as he's on Warfarin.
Sods law as he's been housebound for a while and this was really his first trip out in 8 months or so. It's really gonna take away the confidence he built up about going out so will have to find ways to bouy him up again, poor love.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Draught excluder stuffing - I filled mine with the contents of a 69p cushion from Ikea. May be worth trying your £ shop?
DH insisted on going and getting a new DW this morning rather than him do some washing up :kisses3:. There is no council tax to pay Feb or March which will cover it. Thanks for the suggestions - I went for a Bosch as we have never had a problem with any of their stuff.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
