3 hours I was up in the middle of the night snuffling and trying to find some bed as it was hogged by OH and cats! Plus I was starved and it was way too cold to be scavenging in the kitchen.

Plan for the morning - sort the downstairs desk and the filing box beside it

I'm sure there is stuff in there that can be shredded to make space.
Does anyone have a link to what should be kept?

ajmoney - sorry it was such a bad day. Hope Monday is better, can you not stay down until Wed to ensure you are there?

It is a bit of an awkward one. I have to officially request time off work, they have said there is a requirement for me to be at work on Tuesday and Friday so if I can't get back on Wednesday night then that isn't a problem. I am going to go on Monday anyway and come back the same day (if I can). Tuesday morning I will chat to my boss and see if I can get away just after lunch. I have just booked a hotel for Tuesday night, if there are problems with the trains then I will have to drive but I would rather not. I will make this recital somehow.

    Morning all,

I'm going to get DS2 dressed then do a HHC at 11.00 if anyone wants to join me? The boys are helping me today whether they like it or not. AF's arrived so i should have some energy soon.:j

I've let the rabbits have the run of the dining room, i've locked the door so nobody can accidently let them out. As long as they don't chew the skirting boards or wood floor it should be ok.

    IMPORTANT QUESTION..

What jobs do people specifically want on the list next week?

you know those bits you look at week after week and think.. hmm.. I can pretend that's not on this weeks list so I'll leave it being an eye sore!?? My entire house is like that.. but come on.. tell me about your messy corners! I am bored of writing the same tasks week in week out.. I want something new!

And.. no you aren't having the week or even a day off..
Emergency kit organisation - fuse wire, torches, matches, candles, first aid all sorted, batteries checked and list of emergency phone numbers in there so when something goes wrong we know where it is and can lay our hands on it...list of current meds family is on - just-in-case!

List of stuff to carry in car in bad weather - I am now adding a backpack - (because I had to carry stuff trudging through snow) and am considering bunging my sleeping bag in there so I can keep warm even if I have to knock on a door and beg for shelter!
For a specific job for me it would be sorting CDs and DVDs and returning them to boxes as well as tidying them on shelves.

Mending odd broken things or putting together things that need it.

Kitchen cupboards - organising tinned stuff.

    Rationalising freezer.
I like those ideas (but my CDs are already in alphabetical order :p)

and everyone could photocopy cards (CC bank cards etc front and back; get copies of passports birth certificates etc)

and I could do with knowing which child has had what jab and when because I can never rembermber when I have to complete those fornms for school trips!

Am rather at a loss now, having completed the lists and every room in my house is tidy - a first I think! The utility room is still a mess of laundry and bin bags but it's about 5 degrees in there and OH said he'd take the bags out later so I'll leave it to him. Have actually run out of things/rooms to clean. Maybe I'll have a cup of tea...

We're getting MORE snow here. Starting to run out of nappies and loo roll as mine and DS2's cold's have come back and we've been using a lot of it!

    Kitchen
    Clear windowsils
    Clear top of MW
Drawers/cupboards (but please please don't make me do those!)

    Living Room
Paperwork (no no no no no)
    Bookshelf

Just realised now I've posted these and have nothing else to do I may as well make a start. But I'll pretend that's not true...
