  • Secondary is open but neither DS wants to go as they are worried about the number of kids throwing really hard snowballs - I'm in two minds. There are some right little $hits about and I wouldn't want them throwing them at me (last year a kid got concussion) but don't want them thinking they can stay home cause of that? Advice please - they are really worried especially DS1 who got a bit of a punching before the end of term.

    Flying: made muffins, washed up

My advice is send them in good cold weather gear (hats et.c.) and shop the little sh1ts if they do anything. Hugs, dusty.

Flying wise, I've been an idle baggage, but have put a wash on.

I have reglued the rope seal on my stove, as it has been coming off from the when I first had it. Slightly confused as the manual says leave it cold to set, and the glue itself says heat up gradually over 30 minutes. I've gone with the latter! Anyway, it looks as if its working. It's burning well, the glass is staying clear so far (it doesn't usually) and there is no smell. So obviously it was part of the initial problem

Feeling tired (probably lack of exercise!) and CBA to do anything, but I really do need to get some writing done. I'll have to approach it in flying terms, so I'm going to do 15 mins updating the shared paper, then get supper going, then go back to it etc. etc. until I've made significant progress!

oooh I am ALL GROWN UP

I know this because I now have a proper button TIN like my mother and her mother before her - except mine's square, theirs were round (as opposed to a choc-full plastic vitalite box and an equally choc-full meds box dated 1984 which was my Great-Aunt's) with buttons and, more importantly, room to scuffle them around with my fingers while I look for buttons - and remember the hours I played, as a child, with the aforementioned button tins,
Some of the buttons I have in there are OLDER THAN ME!

Decluttered two plastic containers there, one of which will be reused!

Worked until 5pm today (most days I finish at 2 or 3pm) and came home on a real downer so now cba. I've washed up, but that's about it. We don't have kids, and the cats are asleep on the spare bed. I can't put the light on in there as it would wake them up. It's wait until Saturday. Sorry...

Done almost all the stuff on my list and want a relaxing evening. AF has arrived with a vengeance and I have tummy and back ache and just want to sit quietly by the fire tonight!

I do have some ironing to do and must do the washing up too before I get too comfy - I'm going to try and get it all done by 8.15 then that'll be me done for the day. I baked a banana loaf this evening and we had a lush lemon meringue pie; do you think I should declutter some of the loaf now?

Is that all underwired ones or just ill fitting ones? Can I ask why?

He reckons all as they can become ill fitting quite quickly. He says the wires can rub and cause lumps. The woman doc (surgeon) I usually see says even she won't change her bra!
I have considered decluttering all the underwired but others that are pretty are hard to find.
