the cats are asleep on the spare bed. I can't put the light on in there as it would wake them up.
Bet hex borrows that excuse sometime... :p:p:p ... she's always claiming that her cats stop her doing things;)

(((hugs))) hope you feel better soon.

I'm hungry... at least, I think I am. More likely I'm bored... but I am making progress with the paper (the shared one, not one of my own )

I was just pulling my duvet up and straightening it when my cat took a flying leap on from the windowsill. talk about luxury! The sun streams in through my bedroom window and she was BASKING in it.
Mind you, had I not finished I would have scooted her off...I'm not THAT indulgent. I can't lie down all day - why should she?
I am cleaning the dining room, just dropped in as I go upstairs with some stuff! My blue box (tins and bottles) and blue bag (paper) will be collected tomorrow and I have found more stuff to put in them...looks like the wellies will be going back on
(actually I have just remembered I have batteries to go in too...I recycle mine and I bring them from work, too)

Hated job is drying and putting away pots. By the time I have cooked and eaten and washed up I feel I have seen quite enough of them!
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

oooh I am ALL GROWN UP

I know this because I now have a proper button TIN like my mother and her mother before her - except mine's square, theirs were round (as opposed to a choc-full plastic vitalite box and an equally choc-full meds box dated 1984 which was my Great-Aunt's) with buttons and, more importantly, room to scuffle them around with my fingers while I look for buttons - and remember the hours I played, as a child, with the aforementioned button tins,
Some of the buttons I have in there are OLDER THAN ME!

Decluttered two plastic containers there, one of which will be reused!

I have my grans button tin, there are buttons in there older than my mother!.. so probably about the same age as yours :p:p:p .. it smells divine. I also have my great grandads drill.. it is ancient and useless but it is mine. I also have an old old sewing book which was given to my greataunt when she got married... 60 years ago!.. still in the original packaging it was posted in.

Excuse me being thick but what is AF?

I've just listed something on ebay, so at least the whole day hasn't been wasted!
We've a house rule that the cat's must not be disturbed... I think it comes of not having kids!
