Dell factory outlet bargains

£800 inclusive for a 3.4ghz x800xt is good! I picked one up for £870, sold it on eBay for £1160; mind you that was after a week of constant looking on the outlet (and I think it was a machine that the script runners had already discarded), so not the most profitable of quests...0

Its getting more difficult to get anything since Dell have throttled back the number of machines on the outlet and the scripters baskets fill up with the bargains leaving nothing for those using F5 - ce la vie. There should be a cascade of returns coming in at the moment from Xmas so once these are processed and "Outletised" we should see more coming in.
Good luck !0 -
You press F5 to refresh the page in most internet browsers, so you keep pressing F5 at 35 mins past the hour, so that the instant the website is updated you see the changes and leap in quick!
Cheers for this

Anyone know where to get the scripts from? As for being friendly there, i don't know about that, try asking there for a script, it's a closed shop!Val0

dont ask.
they wont share them
as i said - some of the guys are programmers that have written their own utilities - not scripts - scripts wouldnt stand a chance against them
you have to
a) be lucky with F5.
b) take the machines they dont want.0 -

F5 is one of the shortcut keys on standard keyboards across the top (to the right of Esc).
Kind regards

Seems a little selfish doesn't it, so I have written a "script", actually it's a Visual Basic application that I am considering giving away. It might have one advert to click on it, or a small one off payment to cover development costs (I want to keep developing it, plus it will need amending when the Dell site changes which it does from time to time) I haven't decided yet.
Is there any interest?0 -
