So keep having a look, I have also seen sales in there when they get too much stock with £200 off mid range systems.

I paid for the same system 160 pounds... so not much of a saving!!0 -
How did you do that? I'm looking for a new (average spec) base unit for not over 180 for my mum but I'm having trouble so I thought i might have to wait till the computer fair on Sunday up here in Brum.if i had known then what i know now0

PhilUK you are missing the point entirely, I wasnt suggesting you could go there now and pick up a bargain this minute.
There ARE bargains there to be had you just have to be patient and keep looking.
Click on the left system identifier too as sometimes they dont put the full spec in the initial discription.
AS an example I just clicked the cheapest base on there and although it doesnt say so in the listing it has this if you click on the reference for the product:
CD Read-Write Drive: 48X/32X DVD/CDRW Combo DriveAll Dell'd upseveral times over

shame on you philuk, only buying the one ;D
At that price i would have thought you would have got more.
Thanks to OP , i will as you say , keep an eye out over the future few days/weeks.
Am after a cheap system for my sister0 -
I doubt philuk would be interested in this site. They're all pretty individual machines. He would just be able to "buy 20"0

Better not tell him that if you want 5 or more you can apply for a discount then! All Dell'd up
