January save on work lunches challenge

I have leftover Ham & Soya Bean Risotto for lunch today with a few remaining Diet Chef Oat Biscuits too.....Cold Risotto is delicious!!!!

I'm up for this too!!!!
First day back at work today. Kids are all at home because of the snow but my boss picked me up in his land-cruiser!!
My office is next door to one of the best butchers and the smell of the pasties, pies and sausage rolls is just too tempting!! I get bored at work and find my mind turns to food by about 10 o'clock!!
Today I have leftover leftovers!! Fridge casserole (used up lots of bits and bobs and made a lovely Turkey(!) casserole).

I am SO looking forward to much lunch today, this cold weather is great for keeping me indoors and not spending!

Hi All,

I have brought in a tin of tomato soup today - perfect for this weather! Resisted the temptation to bring in a bread roll to go with it though to help with sorting the waistline out! Not sure how that will go down though - I love having bread with my soup!! Have brought in a couple of plums & a peach in case I get peckish this afternoon

Hi All! Can I join in please?

I always start off with the best of intentions, but can't be bothered in the evenings to think about lunch the next day and as I love my bed, find it hard to drag myself out of it that little bit earlier to make something!!!

I would like to pledge to "No bought lunches in January!" and as I am here Mon - Fri thats a fair few. Am off to a good start.... smoked salmon and phili sandwiches yesterday and (wait for it) ham, salad, guacamole and salad sarnies today! (they were nicer than I was thinking!)

Just buttered the bread, put the ham in and shoved the whole thing in a freezer bag! Sorry, not sure about cling film as I've never used it in the freezer we have a huge roll of really cheap freezer bags that seems to be lasting longer than forever! :j Someone more knowledgeable than me might know?

Got sent home from work at lunchtime due to snow, so I'm eating lunch at home today. Had taken one of my pasta mug shots to work, so will be eating that tomorrow instead if the snow lets up and I manage to make it in :T.

I had spaghetti for lunch today, leftover from dinner yesterday. Also brought in a banana and pear for snacks so no spends today. I was nearly tempted to buy a diet pepsi but resisted! :T

Well, not back at uni yet, but had christmas dinner soup at home... veggies/turkey - which was made and frozen on boxing day.

I'm going to take lunch to work EVERY day in January. If I don't make something to take I'll nip to sainsbury's to make something in the kitchen there rather than heading to the sandwich shop for another hot sandwich.
