Probably going to try out my new hiking boots I got for christmas and slug into the office tomorrow. I imagine it'll be a late in early out situation though.

Exactly what I did today, if it starts snowing heavily either here or at home I'm off at two, no questions!

Anyhow, today I brought in lamb stir fry for my lunch.... Three for three this week so far, if I manage to avoid buying something today I'll have reached my weekly target :j

  • A snow day for me too as I can't get my usual lift into work & all the trains have been cancelled! woohoo!! So another no spends lunch today :j
    2019 will be my year!!
  • Three days in a row for me, lunch wise! Went to bed last night forgetting to make sandwiches so grabbed a tin of soup and some bread with the usual crisps and cereal bars. It helps to mix it up a little I guess!

I'm off to Tesco for my monthly shop tonight so planning lots of interesting things to eat for lunches for the rest of the month.

Its sad- but in my head I'm totally up the money I WOULD have spent on lunches and how much i'll have left over at the end of the month if I carry on like this. Woohoo!:j:j:j

elenor - happy to add you, do you have a specific challenge in mind? Under £1.10 a day maybe?

Yes - £1.10 absolute max seems like a good challenge for me. All through Jan and will aim to carry on from there!

    Thank you!

Yay, 3 outta 3 'brought from home' lunches so far! Sandwiches weren't quite as 'interesting' as yesterday, but were sausage and wholegrain mustard! Nice!

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!
  • Took in a soup and a baguette as planned yesterday only to find the boss had laid on free bacon sarnies for all those who had struggled in through the snow so I had that instead!

And had yesterdays soup and bag today!

Nottobadyet put me down for an under £1 a day spend target
  • Day 1 of the challenge for me as it's me first day back in work.

Breakfast: Didn't have any, was too busy. (although I do have some small cereal packets left to have)

Lunch: Bought a curry from home, and a packet of crisps. It was half of a whoopsied meal which was £4.99 originally, reduced to £2
    Start Date: 27/11/2010
    Padding: Day 42
    Target £8000
    Amount: £562.23
