How's everyone doing?
Day one is done and dusted, a nsd at work.
Making a stir fry for dinner tonight so that'll be tomorrows lunch if I have time to cook after my pool match this evening,if I don't it'll be lamb sandwiches … can anyone suggest a way to jazz up lamb sandwiches??

Oooh, can I join in please?
I'll commit to taking my lunch every day except if we have any birthday lunches out (I don't think we have any in Jan though).
I'm not too bad at taking my lunch most days but get so bored with sandwiches! And at the moment when it's cold I really fancy something hot to keep me going all day. I rarely have leftovers as my lovely but greedy boyfiriend eats everything up ... At least we have a microwave and a fridge at work so I have options, I just need to get out of my sandwich rut!
I love these forums for ideas and inspiration but this is the first time I've joined a challenge, let's see how I go!0 -

Glad to see everyone is getting on so well! Ive updated the member list, hope I didnt muck it up too badly...
Had leftover lentil soup today which was lovely and healthy. Did buy a roll on my way to work (I stop at a local bakery on the way in when I have soup, its more to support the local business than anything!), so spent 20p on that.
Made cottage pie for dinner tonight, which wasn't overly good (recipe demanded canned lentils an toms, the pie ended up tasting more of tin than anything else!) but will leave me with leftovers for tomorrow. Sorted!Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

No diet coke in the house though (complete addict). I have enough for a glass in the morning to stop the withdrawals- maybe its time to give up during work hours and switch to water.0 -

That sounds like a good idea! What do you put it in the freezer in, a freezer bag, or would cling film be ok?Debt at 1/1/11 £7,049.75, now £6,682.12 at 9/3/110
