Do e-tyres charge more to come to your home address?
No they don't charge a seperate fitting charge to come to your home address- but I ave generally found them to be more expensive than those where you go to a fitting centre e.g. Black Circles- the difference for me was about £10 a tyre, so unless you have to drive miles to a centre therefore negating and saving due to fuel costs, I would compare prices between providers.0 -
At Good Tread they're up fo a bit of 'What's your best deal?'
We've found them really good & will advise honestly of what life is left in existing tyres. Can't fault them.0 -
Everyone seems to knock Kwik-Fit but I've noticed their online prices to be very competitive, even better than Blackcircles in a lot of cases, particularly for premium tyres.0

Vaio the numbers on the tyres are 208 55 R 16 but Blackcircles couldn't find me any tyres like that...will any speed rating do as they can find tryres with any speed rating?
Savemoney I too am looking for tyres for my focus...bloody car had been hassle that it's worth and it's not even 3yrs old yet!
for a focus i would guess the tyre size is 205 (not 208) 55 16...work permit granted!0 -
On mine Focus 2000 model it says on both front tyres 185/65 r14 86h
Black circles does have that model0 -
Is the Kwik fit price including the fitting, balancing and VAT ?
My experience is blackcircles are more competitive for premium tyres.0 -
Just checked kwikfit and although prices look competitive it doesn't include balancing, tracking and tyre disposal which can add £20 on top for my car
Standard Valve And Balance £18.00 (2 tyres)
Tyre Disposal £3 (2 tyres)
Add Wheel Alignment to your order for just £24.50.
Have your tyres filled with Nitrogen for only £1.00 each.
Add metal valve covers to your tyres for only £1.00 each.
Add Mobile Fitting for just £20.00.0 -
hi everyone
as a tyre fitter myself the advice i would give you is phone around give size of tyre and ask for price of budget tyre and a premium one but say goodyear ask if price includes everything then you will find cheepest garage to check your tyres use a twenty pence piece if it covers the writing your ok as a genral rule you shound change when tyres are 3mm or less
hope that helps

I Use kwik fit the other day for a set of 215's tried ALL the online gaffs like etyres who i have used in the past.
I went on kwik fits web site and a set of firestone's worked out £40 plus cheaper like for like including fitting etc. ordered online then went to the local kwik fit to have them fitted.
