Hi to all.. finally caught up on thread while I had a spare half hour. A very well done to all thise that are losing. some amazing losses the past couple of weeks. very well done.
hope everyone is looking after themselves though.
I have finally lost 2lbs after staying the same for a fortnight. yay thought my body had given up entirely although not suprisingly after basically giving up all exercise:j (OH is now at 1 and half stone weightloss - smarmy g*t!)
Does anyone else notice that the food you can eat healthily can cost so much more than the "crap" you would have bought before.
I'm such a picky eater so I find that trying to be MSE and lose weight does not always go hand in hand.
Anyway gripe over well done to everyone and keep it up.:T0 -
Hey all,
Just checked my email and saw this link. Id like to be added to the list if still possible
Id like to loose 35 lb asapExcercise motivation is nill atm, lol.
I usually fill my bowl to the top and beyond for breakfast (maybe 250g's+) but now down to about 40g, aiming to reduce that further to 30g. Oh how I munch though a box of cereal too quickly, lol. So my next goal for me is to get that 40g down to 30gI think I reduced that 250g down to 40g a bit too quickly, as I do still feel a bit hungry after breakfast. But Im sticking to it now
Bought a couple of weights - so going to try for a 30 min workout this week "sometime" lol.0 -
please add me to your spreadsheet, I've lost 1 st 3 lbs since October at sw, another 7 lbs to go but it's very slow and I need some motivation
great thread, thanks for posting
btw, Aldi and Lidl are cheap for fruit and veg, or your local Indian shop, depending on where you live. Iceland cheap for extra lean mince and fresh or frozen chicken, good quality though. Make a chili con carne with lean mince, 3 tins of tomatoes, peppers, celery, onion etc and add 2 large handfulls of red lentils for extra protein and to mke it go further, cook it all day in a slow cooker so it's ready when you get home. Buy a 400g bag of chilli powder from your Indian shop for about £1.50 but only use about half dessert spoon!! Freeze leftovers for quick meals or for work lunches (buy 10 food pots for £1 from Pounland - re-useable and microwaveable)0 -

Hi Louise
I've not been around for a few weeks and haven't updated.
Been having a few domestic (children) problems
I also briefly tried Paul McK but with 3 kids under 7 and a full time job I couldn't deal with the conscious eating and waiting til hungry stuff - I like to eat with my children and husband and talk to them at the same time.
I have however turned the TV off at mealtimes and drink galons of water, I also eat much more slowly so some of it has stuck.
I have also cut down drasically on the wine and even if I have a drink will not drink with meals - at first dinner without wine seemed very uncivilised but I actually enjoy having just water now
I have also caved in and joined WW - so far I have lost another 6lbs I was going to hang on til the weekend to post but I'm worried you might delete me:eek:
I know WW costs money but I have a holiday booked in July/Aug and if I went not even feeling partly good in myself the cost would be a waste as I'd just be grumpy about not getting into my lovely summer clothes.
Going back to bed now, will listen to the PMK CD - hopefully he will knock me out

Hi all
Another ZERO for me Louise. I am exactly the same weight as I was last Saturday.
I am hopeful that I can lose some weight in the coming week as I'm going to try and up the amount of fruit I'm eating and try and get some more exercise.
Well done to all the losers :T
Have a good week
ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Hiya,
Is the spreadsheet still going?
If so can you add the 1lb for me last week, and 2lbs this week. Thanks.
Managed to get back on the wagon this week. I think moving to a new department at work has helped loads because in my old office people always brought in cakes and biscuits so I was constantly stuffing before lunch. Do kinda miss the cakes though!0 -
