thank you, it's slowing down now, but people are noticing so that's quite nice:). and it's lovely getting together with some old faves from my wardrobe:rotfl::rotfl:....

That's what I am hoping for - really fed up with wearing the same few things that still fit me :o but determined not to buy new, bigger clothes

  • Hi there

another 0.5lb off for me this week please. The soup and walking seems to be working.

AsDA Fresh Tastes Carrot & Coriander Soup Mix is currently 75p for 600g pack (carrot, coriander and onion), add 1 litre of water and 2 veg stock cubes. Boil for 20 mins and whiz in the blender. Makes about 5 portions and 400 ml does a large mug and filling for lunch. Also good before your main meal in the evening (stops you eating so much tasty but bad stuff). If you feel inclined can make from scratch.

    Good luck

  • Hello everyone

Another 1lb loss for me this week, making my total since Jan 11lbs. I'm chuffed with that because around Tuesday it looked like I had put a pound ON, so am thrilled to have ended the week with a loss. I'm seeing numbers on the scales that I haven't seen for years, its so exciting!

I've discovered some smaller clothes in my wardrobe which either still had tags on or I hadn't been able to fit into a while, so its nice to feel like I've got 'new' things to wear without spending. I found one dress which I bought in the sales to 'slim into' ages ago - it's now too big! So I'll be ebaying that.

The only problem now is that all my work trousers and most of my jeans are way too baggy on me and keep falling down. I think people at work haven't noticed my weight loss cos I'm still wearing my usual size 16 clothes. But now I can fit into size 14 tops so after payday I'll have to invest in some smaller stuff!

You need to be content with small steps. That’s all life is. Small steps that you take every day so when you look back down the road it all adds up and you know you covered some distance.
