Well - setting off in a low gear I have lost 1lb this week
I thought I would have done better as I have been fairly good - I can't actually recall any slip ups apart from about 3 pieces of turkish delight last weekend!
Onward and upward - If I keep this up I'll still be around 28lb lighter for my holidays

I now have my shiny new scales, I set them up last night (body fat percentage seems scarily high!), so I at least have a start weight for the challenge. I will weigh in for the first time next weekend. Snow is thawing, so will venture out jogging at least one day this weekend.
Big congrats to everyone who's lost weight this week! :A0 -

I had those sort of scales and gave them away on freecycle in the end - my BF& varied by up to 19% over the course of a day
This is not a sprint, it's a marathon

Hi all :hello:
I've just weighed myself and I have lost 0.02 of a pound or ZERO.
Anyhoo, I'm still feeling cheerful and I think I will have a better week next week
Well done everyone who's lost this week :T:T and thanks to Louise J for this thread.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Just had my weigh in...lost 2lbs this week! Superb! I managed 3 45min walks this week but also had a blip last night with a glass of wine and 2 packets of quavers. (Very yummy and not too bad calorie-wise) But I've managed to lose so very pleased.
My plan for this week is to stick with 1200 calories a day. I'm craving cheese just now so need to try and fit a helping of macaroni cheese into my diet this week. God knows howI'll manage that...it's about a million calories.
Also plan to run 3 times instead of walking and swim once (I have fee ticket). So that's my plan. Onwards to week 3.
