Hello-can I join please?
I need to loose 3 st but want to break it down into achievable 7lb chunks so I dont get disheartened ( which is a frequent excuse for me to give up!).
I cant afford to go to a ww or slimming world so need the motivation/tips everyone may be able to give/share on here.
I feel so low these past 6 months which I know is because of the extra weight, and been to the gym/wii etc but just cannot seem to stay strong with loosing weight.
Sorry for being so miserable but have decided that today is the day that I am going to stop moaning and try to do something about it. Any help appreciated xlovin' this site!

Hiya Everyone, I have been pointed in the direction of this thread by two friends from my thread.
I have 4 stone to lose and I am just tired of lugging it around. It is now beginning to affect my health. Not serious ways but enough to make me think.
Breathlessness
Knee joint pain (had surgery in left knee)
Some sore patches in summer
I have had a quick read through this thread but will have a more thorough look later to day.
I am going to Jersey September the 1st. AND I AM GOING TO LOOK FABULOUS..
Thankyou0 -
Hello everyone. OK - time to confess - for the last 2 weeks I have eaten FAR too much - not stuck to my healthy eating plan and when I got on the scales this morning, there was the result in black and white. Oh dear. So - from today I'm starting afresh. I aim to lose 10 pounds over the next 10 weeks by eating healthy, exercising more and not eating junk. Oh and I MUST keep posting on here more regularly cos that way we can all help each other. Jinky - I love your picture, thank you it's brightened up my morning. Eatandspendaholic - I love your thinking and yes, I too will fabulous soon! Bye for now xxSober October = 0 alcohol free days

Thanks beanielou. I know - it's not easy, is it. I've spent my whole adult life on one bl**dy diet or another - you name it, I've done it. So this time I'm not using the D word - and thinking of it as healthy eating and treating my body with the respect it deserves rather than shoving in handfuls of rubbish like crisps, chips, chocolate etc. At least on here there's plenty of support. We just need to keep thinking - we can do this and we will.Sober October = 0 alcohol free days

I am here reporting for duty, about to go out for my walk
My aims for March were to
1. pay off 1000 on loan (got 800 saved up)
2. follow running programme (done first two weeks of walking)
3. lose between 7-10 pounds (not lost a bloody thing)
4. go to bed early (not doing)
5. keep up with marking(not doing)
I think my March plans can be recsued so am dragging myself out of the pit of misery I have been in and WILL achieve my goals.
food diary
banana and Twix for breafast
crisps drifter, dry cereal
small roll with pate and Marmite crisps
chicken, homemade wedges, peans and er .......birthday cake
glass of cherry coke (LOVE Cherry coke)
and GUTTED for David Beckham, I love him.
Not a great food diary. but am off for a walk of over 6000 steps.
see you again tomorrow
