Thank you for the reply and for being nice :)

I have told my parents yes but it is quite complicated I will have to live there for the next few months at least. I have lived in student accomodation and houseshares for three years which I found difficult, and I absolutely love living in my own flat, having room for my own stuff, and my flat is gorgeous inside, it's just outside when you step into the ghetto that makes me sad :(

The only blessing that no-one has vandalised my car *touches wood* so i can get the hell outta there whenever I want. The neighbours across the road have domestic violence issues so bad that it ended up in the street with glass being thrown and I had to call 999 a couple of weeks ago. I just feel scared, especially because I got attacked before when I lived in another city...

Anyway - basically i have to stay there for the next few months so if anyone has any coping methods/ideas they would be appreciated.

You're deffo right about my neighbours not being scared of the police.... they don't seem scared of anyone. I expect to see them on Jeremy Kyle soon (or Crimewatch!!)

    I've been Money Tipped!
kayteehee welcome! well i've been recommended ear plugs for the noise and sleeping tabs from doc which i have refused as i don'twant to get addicted. most nights i get about 4 hours sleep as they stagger the noises between them, think they stop up most of night and sleep in day, useful not working. wish i had that luxury too.
i have been asked to keep a diary of noise etc but as we own the house not much optioin but to move, but can't even do this as have to declare anti-social neighbours now on forms.

We tried speaking to them several times, they laugh shut the door and it's twice as bad the next night!

maybe we could all live near each other that would solve our probs. still at least we have the support here.

Kayteehee, just wanted to say that I know exactly how you feel! We have this constantly, its been going on for 7 years now and only the last year have I been really tough on completing nuisance logs etc.
Our car was trashed so bad we had to scrap it in the end and it was a good car! We get eggs, mud, paint thrown at the windows on a daily basis. We've had our window broken numerous times, worst being with a metal pole then they tried to throw an 8ft long piece of wood through aswell. Its crazy. They steal the bins if theyre not tied down. The last time my husband got to them just in time before they put it on their bonfire! We get charged £20 for a new one which I will not pay if I ever have to! They even broke into our garden to steal the bin.
Right now Ive had enough. Im trying my best to get it sorted but I will move before summer hopefully. Im just hoping that I will have set things in place for whoever moves in next as they are in for some trouble.

All of this yet we have never done anything to any of the people, crazy isnt it? Now all I do if something hits the window is look out to see who is there, log it, call the police if it keeps going. Im hoping its sorted soon, Ive got my HA involved, council, police teams. Only now after a year+ of submitting the forms and getting the council involved have my HA stood up and took notice.

Im wondering what I can do, my neighbours are driving me a little mad!! We used to be friends but fell out over pets(another story), now things are getting worse, they are being delibratly noisy, but not in a way i can complain about just things like banging, slamming cupboard doors, shouting laughing really loud next to the walls,Riddling the fire at 11.30pm and getting coal in (really noisy) when they know we have gone bed around 10.30pm or getting it in at 6am! When we walk up the garden path they stand at the window staring at us. If my lad plays out they stand at the window staring or come in their garden and give him dirty looks till he runs in scared. I put cctv up in my garden because of small things like my lads footballs going missing and i opened up my shed one day to find a mountain of top soil behind the door!! (I cant prove anything) She sent the police to my house because I might be filming her kids! The police were fine when they saw it was only on my garden and said keep it up. I only have 3 neighbours but im at the end so she is my only next door neighbour. The other 2 used to let on but now dont, Ive no idea what she has said but i dont really care. I just want a peaceful life. She tries to out do or copy everything we do. She will buy bigger but the same christmas lights and outdoor kids toys. Today I made a snowman with my lad she already had 2 in her garden, its the first time weve been at home to do it, she came out and built a bigger one!!! If i cut my grass she will do it an hour later if i change my garden furnitrue around so will she!! I know it sounds petty but i just want to be left alone to live in peace. I dont want to be woken up by their noise or thrown dirty looks, stared at when im in the garden, copied with everything i do. Should I just learn to live with it...is it my problem...or would other people be annoyed by this behaviour?

Ignore them and appear totally unconcerned.

If they are doing it to annoy you, then they will soon get bored.;)

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
