Debt free before baby.

Hey again,
My tutoring was arranged directly with the parent. It's not a child from my school but a friend I know who's a teacher at a local school recommended me to the parent. It's the first time I've done it but luckily he's in year 4 which I teach anyway so I just use the same resources.
I've got planning to do this weekend too, and marking, and I don't know what else. Can't believe we've only been back 3 days!
Hope all goes well with injections. We're trying for baby at the minute and there's so much to think about! xxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
There is just so much to think about! We've been trying for a few years now and there's so many conflicting advice out there! Have you read any of Zita West's stuff? It's mostly based on IVF but there is bits and bobs.
So so pleased it's the weekend :j Finally got some work done, although not all of it
Have to stop procrastinating!!!
Had to have a spend day today as there were toiletries and a prescription I needed, but on the plus side took back the outfit I bought for New Years Day and didn't wear (see earlier sambuca related entry!) so not all that bad.
Very proud of myself as wemt for a run this morning. Nearly didn't go as getting out of bed was a mare but my mate bullied me into it and was very pleased she did!
Must get some batteris for the WII fit and do some more of that.
On another note...just watching ENews Justin Bieber? Why????NSD -5/20

I haven't read anything yet no but will google and see. We're only a couple of months in so not worried yet but I like to be informed so have been doing lots of reading of various websites.
Am currently on MSE instead of marking, I have however finished my week's literacy planning which is a start. Hope you didn't procrastinate for too long!
Well done on your run too! I spent 2 hours dog walking which is as adventurous as I got, though my hubby did an hours run yesterday. New years resolutions all start well eh...!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Haha, my New Years Resolutions are usually gone by this point in the year - AKA going back to school. Really pleased that I managed to do some things last week after school. Dunno about you, but by the time I go to work int he dark and then get home from work in the dark still thinking about what I need to do for the next day I am in no mood to go to the gym. Even though I know that it would do me the world of good.
Think part of the resolution is that I need to start being a bit more regimented at work, leaving at a certain hour and not bringing work home all the time!
Spend the day doing very little. Lunch at the inlaws and then housework etc etc. Bout some Chinese Medicine things that were recommended by my reflexologist - not sure where I stand on the whole eastern medicine thing. The logical side of me knows the role the different parts of the body do but then when she was describing symptoms that she suspected I had because of my feet etc she was pretty much spot on. Heck even if it's a placebo effect then I don't care!
Injection day number 3. So far both me and OH have managed to cut ourselves trying to open the glass ampul (sp) which is ridiculous. Todays injection really stung for some reason
. That then starts me panicking that I'm doing something incorrectly. Still it's done, although my hormones are all over the shop. Ended up sobbing at Ghosts of girlfriends past last night ????
Gonna have a big sort out of the wedding stuff that I shoved into the loft before Xmas. One of OHs work collegues said she buy some of it, every little helps. Also need to get back into doing reviews and onepolls. Think I might set myself a target of x amount a week.
Had a look at all the census jobs but they all seem to require training when we are away on honeymoon which is very annoying.
OH train ticket has gone up by 48% as they've scrapped the cheap ticket he used to get. So it's either going to be back to the 3 hour daily commute or trying to car share. Tricky as we work about 20 miles away from each other. He has thought about cycling to work but not in this weather. Darn public transport!NSD -5/20

Well the last few days have been absolutely flipping dreadful. Found out yesterday that my mum has bowel cancer. She went into surgery this morning and is now back on ward and awake.
Bit of a shock as it came out of absolutely no where. It means however, that we'll be spending £2.50 to park everytime we go. Love how hospitals make visiting an hour but you have to pay for up to 2 hours to park .
Also visiting hours clash with all of my gym times so that resolution is out the window with my NSD. Going to try and get some runs in when I can. Hopefully she'll be out in 2-3 weeks so will just have to start from then.
So far 2011 has been a right rubbish year! I suppose it can only get better from here on in.
Roll on 2012 is what I say!!NSD -5/20

Sorry to hear that sazzle - hope your mum is better soon. *hugs*
I'm sure you'll be able to fit in some exercise but don't worry about not keeping resolutions, I'm sure you will when you have more time and are less worried.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Sending positive thoughts your way hun. Hope your mum starts to feel better soon. Don't panic too much about your exercise but try not to worry about everything as you want your body and mind in peak condition for those injections!

Thanks for the messages, really sweet of you:)
Just a flying visit as shattered and need an early night. Mum not great today, Blood pressure low so will be in hospital a bit longer. Was a little shocked by how frial she looked, guess you don't ever expect your parents to look old! Still she's in the right place for being looked after, she really just needs as much rest as she can. The Dr told her to take it easy today - have visions of her up and about tomorrow cleaning her ward because she doesn't have to take it easy
In other news, another day another injection, skin is really breaking out with all the hormones flying rounf my body. Was in mad rush at lunch so gave in and had a Peter's corned beef square and then bought Take a Break to do the comps.
Have decided that will disregard hospital parking in NSD from now on in. So aiming for one tomorrow.
Off for a run tomorrow night which I am weirdly looking forward to. Signed up for a cake decorating course tonight, it was only £20 for a 20 week course and is something I'm interested in. Need to cultivate some sort of hobby - dry January has made me realise that the only hobby I have involves alcohol
Which actually sounds a lot worse on paper than it is!!
Anyway, off to get some zzzzs so so pleased it's Friday tomorrow!!NSD -5/20

Didn't get my run
Running a course on Monday out of school and needed to get organised for that so didn't get the flyer I wanted. I've got to do some exercise this weekend otherwise it's going to be over a week since I last did anything - especially as next week is a busy week evening wise
Got a DVD with the Telegraph on Sunday and had a quick go at it last week so may try that tomorrow in full and go to body combat on Sunday if I can get anyone to go with me. (i'm too much of a wuss to go by myself!)
Managed a NSD without even realising it today. Mum too tired for visitors so going in tomorrow instead.
Busy weekend but trying to cram it all into Saturday so can spend some time on Sunday relaxing!NSD -5/20

Hope you get some exercise done this weekend.
I've managed four days in a row so far and am amazed at myself. :rotfl: Just need to keep it up - did 2 days Shred and 2 days Blast Off Belly Fat (lovely title) and feeling better for it. Only 20 mins each day so need to fit it in.
Hope your Mum is doing well and look after yourself as well - you have a lot on atm. :kisses3:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,345, Car loan CC 0% BT £4900. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0
