  • Hi all

I forgot to say, thanks everyone for the happy birthday wishes. Had a really scrummy meal last night with OH, DS, my Dad, SM and youngest brother. I know now why my Dad suggested it - at F&Bs you get 25% off the food bill on a Monday night! :rotfl:Who am I to argue?!:money:

  • We normally get paid on the 28th, but seeing as that's Sunday, it's an early pay day this month!

Oh, I forgot to tell you guys. My Dutch bank sent me a credit card application on Friday! lol

OH is a bit peeved as they didn't send him one and he earns more etc. I think it's because I make use of the savings account with them which probably ticks a box on the credit scoring front!

I'm going to find the terms etc online and also ask them some questions first. But, seeing as I can't use my standard Dutch bank card to purchase things online, it would be great to have just so that I can make online purchases, and would then pay off in full each month. At the moment I have to transfer money to the UK and then pay using UK bank account.

    MMM, lots to think about.

    Af'noon peeps,

Had a busy weekend gardening (digging beds, lifting roots, cleaning ponds) and have now hurt my back :( The garden's looking good, but we're still only about halfway through...and that's before we even get planting! And I, obviously, have the lower back of an 80 year-old. Goddammit.

jardinier.gif How's the gardeners back doing today then?
    Hi All

Today is my 39th birthday and also my first day back at work after 2 weeks off sick. It hasn't been a bad day - lots of people have been in to see me, mainly to do with the cakes I brought in I suspect!

My Dad is taking us out for dinner this evening to Frankie and Benny's - yum!

group2.gifBelated Happy Birthday! Glad you enjoyed your meal and good on your dad for being so MSE lol
