I'm getting my haircut this month, on Saturday afternoon actually, OH and I are also going to go to the cinema that evening. I can plan and order the food shopping tonight (yummy!) for delivery on Sat morning. And........it's OH and I's anniversary on Sunday.
All he wants is homemade chicken and mushroom pie, so that's what he's getting. OK, maybe I'll get a card and some other little treats to go with it.
Oh, and also doing the fake tan this weekend. I did my nails last weekend. We're going to Belgium next weekend for OH's friend's leaving do and his ex will most likely be there, so you know, gotta look my best
And, there'll be a fair few of his friends who I've never met (distance makes it difficult). Although, in my opinion, most of those guys don't deserver his friendship, but that's another story.
Euronorris will smile, drink and be merry. And Amanda will probably get me wasted!:D She did the first time we met. And I, in a classy way of course, proceeded to knock my pint all over the table and floor! :rotfl::rotfl:February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Morning all.
Despite my relatively small PaD of £1.27 and the fact that we STILL have no hot water AND the fact that both sets of neighbours were at each others throats until late last night, I am in a very good mood today.
OH & I have had a few teething problems since we moved in together on new years eve. I'm not used to having to share my personal space with anyone and he's not used to having to use an iron, so things have been tetchy to say the least. BUT OH met me at the station last night and we travelled home together. About ten minutes into the commute, he produced a little blue box from his pocket. As he had some money left over before pay day, he decided that rather than overpaying the mortgage, or setting aside money for emergencies or saving towards the wedding (or being sensible, as I would have!) he'd pop into Swarovki and pick up the MOST gorgeous necklace I've ever seen!
And no, he isn't feeling guilty about anything!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

I hope you aren't feeling guilty and you are just enjoying the necklace! He sounds like a little sweetieI'm sure you will sort out the teething problems... it takes time.

Looks like we are both having an MOT day today then PB
There are a couple of jobs to do on my van to get it through plus a bit of other work to do on it. If the total bill is less than £200 I will regard that as acceptable. You never know what else they will find though. I never hang around at test centres these days. It's too much like a dentist's waiting room.
Before I forget, a PAD of £1.23 today thanks Keza
I have slowed down a bit with the PADs in case the MOT reveals unexpected stuff.0 -
Good luck Paul!! Mine was actually tested nearly 2 weeks ago but had to wait for the part to come in, which I ended up getting myself, and I'm really hoping it's a working part! MOT must be the worst day of the year...Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16
