    Morning All!

TGIF! Got a stomach ache, a cold and OH is being messed around by work. One second they are renewing contract, then they are converting to local and then 'oh, we can't do either of them without reducing your salary'. Arghhh!

OH won't drop the salary, for a number of reasons, and it seems to be their sticking point but they are just dragging it out. If they say no definitively he can get on with looking for another job in the next 2 months. Otherwise, they remove the time! Grrr.

Also found out that they are not processing his payroll correctly, nor have they been providing the UK payslips each month. He should also be getting a Dutch payslip and they are yet to provide just ONE, in the 2 years he's been there.

Arghhhh, what a mess!! Thankfully, I have a little knowledge with this so I was able to ascertain that he won't have a massive Dutch tax bill (as they also told him yesterday that he would) as they have been taking the Dutch tax (well, an estimated amount) from his pay each month. Therefore, after the year end calculation he might have to pay a small correction amount, but we're only talking a couple hundred here, rather than 12k!

I've armed him with as much info and questions as I can, and I'm going to check some things with my colleagues here as well.

    Stressed!
