Hi All £1 Pad for me today
have a great day everyone0 -
 I'm REALLY sorry I offended you!!!! That was sincerely not my intention AT ALL. It is absolutely your business.
I wasn't implying that you didn't take your kid's safety seriously, but saying you didn't see the difference between putting your kids in a car seat or just with a car seat belt?!?!
You are very forceful with your language at times, so I didn't think you were that sensitive....wow I am shocked.
I'm not offended, I was just being 'forceful'
I stand by what I say when I said I don't see the difference in some of the seats...

ETA - The only difference in putting a seatbelt on and putting a kid into this seat with a seatbelt on, is that the kid is in the seat.Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Actually, you did say you were not going to discuss it further......
Anyway, patronising or not. You are wrong again. The difference is that a child under that age range is not tall enough to be adequately protected by the car's lap and diagonal belt. The diagonal part should sit on the child's shoulder. In the event of an accident, the seat belt will not do it's job.
Therefore in order for the child to be in the correct position, a booster seat - like the one in your link - elevates the child to the correct position. So it is better than sitting on the car seat.
Just because you can't see the difference, doesn't mean there isn't one. That's not me being patronising, it's fact.0 -
