Actually, you did say you were not going to discuss it further......

Anyway, patronising or not. You are wrong again. The difference is that a child under that age range is not tall enough to be adequately protected by the car's lap and diagonal belt. The diagonal part should sit on the child's shoulder. In the event of an accident, the seat belt will not do it's job.

Therefore in order for the child to be in the correct position, a booster seat - like the one in your link - elevates the child to the correct position. So it is better than sitting on the car seat.

Just because you can't see the difference, doesn't mean there isn't one. That's not me being patronising, it's fact.

Everyone's individual opinion should be respected, regardless of whether the other believes it to be wrong.

Not every child within a certain age range is the same height.

But yes, as you so rightfully pointed out, I'm not going to keep posting about this.

We don't have a wii so I wouldn't know how to work it either...you could sneakily have a look whilst the kids aren't around and suss it out for yourself! :D

    How's your friend?

Glad I'm not the only one! At least I was able to get to the office this week! :)

My friend.....awful really. She came in this morning, but we did a hand over of work and told her to go home. She's in a right state at the moment, and as much as we try to comfort her, we can't make it better.

Anyway, I brought in Season 1 of Supernatural for her to watch this weekend. So, at the very least, she can spend some time drooling over the 2, VERY HOT, guys (lead characters). And I've told her to call me if she wants to chat/go out/sit in an chat and cry. She's scared of where this could all lead, more than anything else.

And from what I know, I fear that her worst nightmare might soon be a reality. :( We will have to wait and see.

    Thanks for asking though :)

  • Af'noon peeps!

Small PAD of £4 into my savings today as I gave my ex £100 for some paintings yesterday and am going to have to take it easy for the rest of the month. Might be buying OH a Davida...open-face...thingummyjig..wotsit...helmet...tomorrow *shrug* I don't see the fuss, personally. My Nolan Classic is fine and won't shear my chin off in an accident. He has grown a beard to satisfy my curiosity though, so perhaps he thinks it makes his chin invincible :rotfl:

Anyhoo...I have a long weekend ahead so am urging the clock onwards towards 5pm. Hugs to everyone who needs them...olive branches whiffled in the ears of others ;) and I hope you all have glorious weekends!

    *meep*
