The Ikea big match bet(again)

We went in the Milton Keynes one this morning. Complete madness. Old women fighting, men shoving women, children and OAP's, snatching, abuse, people elbowing others in the face. I have never seen anything like it.
I don't know what happened to the 6 only rule, many people had trolleys full of them and were going through the checkouts ok and people were filling vans in the car park.
Didn't need or really want the chairs so we decided not to risk our lives and go upstairs for a 95p breackfast instead. When we went back down at about 10.40am all the chairs had gone and people were still kicking off!0 -
Went to the wendsbury store @ 10.30 today to get picture frames and possibly pick up this offer, never thought it would of been so popular! long Qu's but went a long anyway.
there was a massive dangerus pile up at the esscolators people getting squshed and stuff painfull.
got 10 chairs. and lots of other ikea stuff after.

Excellent pictures!
Got to the one in Leeds at 9.10am and there was very few people about. Got a bit busier by the time I left at 10am as I had to go round 3 times (due to the 6 per household rule). 18 chairs for 18p - now thats a deal!!!**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0 -

Wouldnt the seller say that if someone wanted to buy the chair from Ikea now, it would cost them £6.49, so they'd be saving £2.49 by buying it from them instead  - probably because they didn't manage to get the said chair for 1p this morning??
I love this type of bargain as the fact it only costs 1p makes it extra special, ifya knowwhatimean.
I've done it before but I wonder what other 1p bargains are out there........ OGB - Queen of Bling baby...:A0 -

That's what I like to hear - don't think about anyone else just look after yourself - hope you don't forget to declare your profit.webrits wrote:So it only cost you between 30-60 mins of each of your 33 employees wages to save a few quid on a crappy chair... Thats a least £3 for every 30mins each employee was in Ikea plus 1p; and you ended up with 200 chairs you don't really want and probably won't make a profit on!
You sound like a clever businessman.....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
