Looks like they are doing the same offer again for today's match though just the chairs if England win:)

Just got back (from the Bristol store)...
I’m forced to say there was almost a riot.
No control over people, a manic scramble to get to the stacks, kids being knocked over… I was in retail management for a number of years and who ever organised this needs shooting with a blunt bullet.
Having a free for all is the worst way of dealing with this sort of offer.
(yes, I did get some, but based on what I saw today I won’t be going for another Ikea offers).0 -
Well, to give a balanced view, the organisation at the Wednesbury store was excellent. Huge queues, - we got there at 9.20 and the queue stretched back the length of the car park even then, but staff were sensibly letting a few people through at a time so there was no free for all.
My wife and I both went, and we've come back with 12 chairs for 12pDebt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -
IIRC, wasn't there once a VERY serious incident at an Ikea opening day sale? Looks like at least one store has learned from it....I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

Brent Cross iirc.
I must admit, I had visions of something similar when I was queueing up, but fair play to the management and staff - they had the organisation spot on.Debt free since December 2015. It can be done0
