The member of staff I spoke to reckoned they had 8000 in stock, but the queues were huge so I wouldnt expect them to last long

Oh well, shes under instructions to bring me back some foam muchrooms and mini dime bars anyway so won't be a wasted trip

The one in Gateshead was bedlam, 5000 chairs gone in 20 minutes. Disorganised and when the patient queue was told at 10.20 they'd all gone, they were patient no more. I've seen nothing like it over half a dozen chairs

Just read this on the DVD Forums

Missus just got back from the Wednesbury Ikea, managed to get 19 chairs for 19p - a grand saving of £123.12

Apparently they had 4500 chairs that went in about 45 minutes.
Chairs are basic but comfortable.

It is a bit crazy - they are only £6.49 anyway! Oh well watch the pennies etc.

How did people manage to get so many chairs, I thought they were limiting people to six each? Good to see some people will be making money off IKEAs generosity/marketing ploy anyway... hmm!
