oooooooh just checked my email
There's a letter from the solicitors
"We can confirm liability has been admitted in writing by the defendant insurers."
As long as what the lad from the insurance company says is true that means I won't lose my excess from my payout and I won't lose any no claims"Stay Wonky":D

Now you just have to wait for the cheque to come in and you're sorted:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

I got £1500 for my S reg car, had to fight like hell for that because there was nothing similar to replace it, they offered £1200 initially. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

wow - it comes with mp3 versions, 'playalong' versions with just the piano backing you or with video.
Beats me listening repeatedly to my James Galway LP whilst learning it from the accompanying book when I was a kid!
:rotfl:I used to do that too - Flight of the Bumblebee? :rotfl:
Great news about the flute, and the insurance, and Thunder!

grrrrrrrrrrrr. Ebay account has had 'suspicious activity detected' for the second time this month and they've locked me out.
Currently using ebay live chat to sort it. Again. Can't see why this is happening though."Stay Wonky":D

Sorted. again. That's the second time 'unusual activity' has been 'detected'. Whatever that means.......she said my new password might not have been strong enough or that someone has access to my email (ie hacked in ) and has pressed the 'forgotten password' feature. However, I have different passwords for ebay and my email now so not sure how that can happen.
I now need to remember what I've made it - it's a really bizarre mix !!"Stay Wonky":D

doing a malware bytes scan - found 2 trojans so far (rolleyes!!)
Couple of money related thoughts - neither good.
I have got into a bad habit of popping into One Stop opposite work for my lunch. It has to stop - now - as I'm spending a fiver a go.
The other is that at the moment I'm just about 'ok' each month for income versus outgoings. As of 1 April, I lose my £108 per month WTC as I'm over the limit and I start paying £80 a month extra tax.
I have no teaching in March, April or May.
£188 a month down and no teaching income............shiiiiiiiit _pale_
I will have to really ramp up the AQA at the weekends. I will need £250 per month to cover the £188 plus teaching money and I will then be in a position where I'm paying off whatever debt I'm left with after the car insurance payout.
Great. Just when I thought I might be able to work a normal 37 hour week and just do AQA to build up my savings rather than a 37 hour week plus another 10-12 hours at the weekend just to break even and knock the debt I'll be incurring on the head.
And if my afternoon contract ends in May......
That's 2010 written off as being on the financial edge"Stay Wonky":D
