    I think Poole might be prettier than Hartlepool docks :rotfl: my friend lived on that exact estate before he got a hotel managers job in London, how wierd is that:eek: he loved it there but prices have plummeted in the whole of our region.

    It's a cheap house, so I presume the area isn't that good - especially given how near the sea it is. But I don't actually know that - they may just be desperate. There has been a shed-load of new build up here, quite a bit of which is not yet finished, so prices are "floating on air" a bit.

    It depends what kind of house you're looking at.

    If you sold up, moved and then rented - you could go to auction and put "stink bids" in, and see what you got.
