Burlesque Babe bid to stay debt free in 2010

brrr...........cold as I type.
Had a letter from the solicitors noting bits I've sent them. They've asked for a copy of the engineer's report and the category of write off (total loss) and they are going to use that as part of my claim as I now can't use a car as a part exchange vehicle. I've also asked for the £31 to be added to the claim.
Tonight I need to do a letter to the DVLA and also gather the documentation needed.
I also spent £80 at Lands End and I've had the stuff a week and haven't even tried it on. I got a CC bill (whoops, thought I'd used my debit card!) showing this so I need to try it on soon and send it all back if I'm not keeping it otherwise I'll have had it all too long!
And I'm applying for a job. Done about 90% of the application. Just got a few more paragraphs to write on the 'why I'm good enough' bit. Same organisation, a 20 month contract as a Project support officer. Mix of project work and admin. 21-25k and suits me perfectly on a major project for the town I once worked on in the mid 90s and hasn't progressed since!!!! Typical really of local government and probably a good indication that the contract might be longer than 20 months!! I'll finish that off tonight or tomorrow and email it. It's only advertised internally so that's either good because it will be a closed number of people who see it or bad because they have someone lined up. However, it's a fresh start to the work so I can't see there would be, but you never know if there's someone who is under threat of redundancy etc lurking in a department."Stay Wonky":D

yeah, am pretty cold to be honest. i've put a jumper on over the thin work jumper I had on but can still see my breath.
Am going to look out on ebay for a cheap flute. I used to play to quite a high standard before I went to uni. and then stopped playing when my sister wanted to learn and I gave her mine. Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra are going to be holding 3 'Rusty Musician' workshops in the spring which will end in a concert in June in Poole. I used to love being in an orchestra, not sure i'll have the confidence to commit to something like that again, but it does sound fun."Stay Wonky":D

Go for it. It's not like you'd have to play solo."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

that probably wouldn't bother me if I got into it - I used to play first flute so was used to leading a section. It would probably be more the fear of going outside my confines of the regimented day I have now, anything outside what I know and find comfortable panics me, always has since the Cruella stuff and my day is now incredibly regimented depending on what day of the week it is and I do seem to be getting worse

You can only break the bonds by pushing on them."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
