What does it matter that the car is "dull?"

All you need is to get from A to B, so who cares?

    I wouldnt:D

I know - and I've always said I don't do badges etc and generally I don't. It's hard to describe - I just feel that the exterior 'me' isn't very exciting day to day, physically, lifestyle, clothes I wear etc but a mildly nice looking car (doesn't have to be dear) would project a bit of the inner 'me', ie a bit racy, subtely sexy and nice to look at :rotfl:

There are some cars (ie a Skoda) I just couldn't drive however reliable they are supposed to be.

    I know.......I'm weird......:o

i've seen a (according to honest john) very reliable car.........but deadly dull. OH seems to think any car I see should be half the price it is, I'm sure he's living 1990 rather than 2010. I'd prefer it to be a coupe but it's 5 door.

    It's this (please don't laugh - it's very dull!)

my brother had one for a few years (until a chimney pot fell on it and wrote it off!) and he drives a LOT of miles each week and it was really reliable.

The excitement in a car derives mostly from your right foot. I bought the car I have because Toyota were reliable.

The last exciting car I was in, was a Skoda Fabia - she pulled out in front of an oncoming bus...

Look here to see how reliable cars are (or are not).

OY I had a white Hyundai Accent for years and I would still have it if some idiot hadnt reversed into it and poked its eyes out.......

As long as your hair is done and you have your lippy on then its not the car that people notice:D;)

    Maybe I am just dull:confused::D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Is it me or does the top car in those pictures look like it also has an upholstered Spoiler? Upholstered with a tablecloth:rotfl:

"if the figure for the car you are looking at has a higher than average index (118) it indicates that that car is less reliable than the average, if however there is a lower than average index (60) the reliability is better. "

    That Accent has

    reliability of 22.95
    repairs take average 45 min
    average bill is £90

I've added it to my favourites list. But then, every second hand car is a gamble to be honest and it could be the most reliable car and I buy a lemon. My Honda has a similar reliability rating but a high average repair bill!

Very useful site for me Z - cheers.

Guess I'll find out the offer soon, I still think it will be a max of £1k.
