I did have a lovely birthday, thank you all.
Everyones good wishes on here, and cards from friends and family made me realised that some people actually like me:eek:. So I must be ok, must remind myself of that sometimes:o Hubby also wrote me a lovely ditty in my card about how much I mean too him:A
Spent the day with my mum and a good elderly friend (she would kill me if she knew I called her elderly!) Then the evening was spent in a lovely country pub, home very early though as hubby starts work at 'silly O'clock', so he was in bed by 9pm!;)
Today I have done.....drum roll please......not a lot! Mananged to iron 9 items:p Dead head the flowers and have a general race round shoving things in cupboards to make the place the look reasonable before the out-laws decended for tea. Hubby was going to cook, he put everything on to cook at the same time.....new pots, roasted toms, carrots, jacket spuds, broccoli and the sauce:eek: and I rescued it all!!:rotfl:
Mum also came to tea, it made me a bit sad to see how much better my MIL copes with things than she does, however my MIL is ten years younger (although looks older:rotfl:)she does have health issues of her own however. Mum thanked me tonight for the lovely days she has had this week with me, made me realise even more that time spent with her now is very precious and should be savoured. I will ensure I make more time for her in the future.:o
I did manage a trip to the gym, only been three times this week, might go again in the morning if I am half awake! They shut at midday so it might not happen!!:o
Tomorrow is more 'mucking out' of mums craft room (almost there now), her new flooring is going down then it's a case of days of putting everything back in a logical order...will probably last 'tidy like' for about a week!! Ah well, we have to try.:)
I have 12 items finishing ion ebay tomorrow and not one bid! Good job I listed them on the free listing weekend!

Morning all, suprise suprise I din't make the gym this morning. In
fact I didn't get up very long ago:eek:. What a waste of a morning.
Later on I'm going to have a facial, the first one of my life:T and my feet made to look normal:p. Mum wants her lip waxed:eek: and her feet pampered so thats what we will do! Am paying for it out of my birthday money (trying to justify it now!) Hmm just remembered got to fit in some 'Craft Room' antics at some point!
Right, best get off for some breakfast:eek:

Hi TPA, sorry I missed your birthday. Glad you had a lovely time xx0

I have been really brave..I had my eye brows waxed and din't cry:rotfl:
Mum and I both enjoyed our pampering afternoon, my facial was lovely and I even had a bit of a neck massage(sp) with it (not bad for £14;))
I spent £33 of my birthday money (I sound like a ten year old now!) my SIL paid for my facial as a B'day pressy and I also had a mini pedicure and mini finger nail thingmy doodah,,,,see Im not used to this pampering lark! The rest of my b'day money will go into the 'shrinking clothes' pot!:D

I have got a lovely shiney car, my lovely mum paid for some one to valet it for me:A. Well actually I think she paid then told my Dad he was buying it for me for my birthday:rotfl:
The craft room is almost sorted, just need to go and buy some more 'really useful' boxes tomorrow and everything can go back......I'm not sure how long it will stay sorted though....mums craft room is a bit like my spare room!
Tomorrows plan is re-start the diet, shopping for boxes with Mum, gym then home to attempt the spare room muck out...again, if I had a £1 for every time I had promised myself i would sort it, I would never need to mystery shop again!
Talking of mystery shopping, it has gone down the pan a little bit over the last couple of weeks, I have been spending more time with mum, I will need to pick it up a bit again though or the bank account will look very sad next month:eek: Need to get a better balance I think. If I spend less I would need to earn less, how do I get this through to my brain????:o
Ebaying didn't go too well this week, 3 items sold out of 9:eek: Two more yet to finish and everything else re-listed. Two of the items were books and ebay set a maximum postage cost of £2.75, however they weigh too much so will actually cost a little over this, luckily not too much over, another 20g and would have been in big trouble:mad:
