I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow and see what the damage is (think I'm pretty sure what I weigh) which won't be pretty

Hello GG,
I'm one of the lurkers on your thread and just catching up with a week or so's reading..
.. Can I join you in your weight loss quest? I'm 42, 5'6" and weigh [big swallow] 13 stone 5 lbs... Ouch. I can't believe how bad that looks typed out.
I am on a very strict budget at the moment, so I can't afford Slimming World classes, but I know that they do work... About six years ago, I lost 1.5 stone with them. This time however, I need to loose about three...

Hi, could I be really cheeky and join in with you girls please? I lost a stone and a half a year ago, and I have put the whole lot back on
I have just weighed myself and I am 11 stone 11, I am 5ft 7.
I now have no summer clothes to wear as I got rid of all my bigger clothes when I lost the weight and now the smaller ones I have don't fit.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Well I have had a horrible afternoon, SF (dog!) collapsed in the garden earlier on and had to be taken to the emergency vet.:( It was so scary, one minute he was fine the next he could not walk, every time he tried to get up he fell back down, it was like had had a stroke. He was sick and then seemed to pick up a little. Took him to the vets who said it might have been sun stroke, he had a full check up and an injection, he seems much brighter tonight but still not his ususal nutty self.
The diet seems to be going well, although I wouldn't be suprised if I looked like a banana and muller light-they are both 'free foods' on slimming world so have been munching away like a mad woman. Luckily muller lights are on offer in Tesco at the moment.:j

TPA, sorry for clogging up your thread, think we all got a bit carried away & forgot it was a MFW diary
Do love reading about your MF journey so will keep checking in to see how you're doing
ETA just read about your pooch, hope he ok, has been very hot today.0 -
Hope the pooch is ok. Thats my worst fear...my dog used to be epileptic and it was terrifying the first few times he collapsed. So for something like that to happen out of the blue I sympathize greatly. xReduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Who said you were clogging up my thread??? I started all this slimming talk!:p
Thanks for the kind thoughts about the dog, he is such a maniac most of the time for him not even to be able to stand up was terifying, I'm glad hubby was home and it made it much easier taking him to the vet. Hubby is not very good in these situations though, I called him out shouting somethings wrong with the dog and he came out and just stood there looking terrified, I asked him to ring the vet but he couldn't move himself! Once I had phoned the vets and told him what to do he was fine.....good job we don't have kids eh! The trouble is he loves that dog as much as he loves me (if not more:eek:) so if anything happened to him it would be such a shock.
