Erm can I ask a friend.....ok its both!:rotfl:
I've obviously pressed something on the keyboard as its only fuzzy on the PC not the laptop??!!:rotfl:
If you are squeemish do not read the following - I went to slimming world and I weigh a tremendous 17 stone 12.5 lbs:o...I know its bad, I'm 5 foot 7 inches and would need to be about 15 foot 7 to be any where near the normal range! Joking apart I am determined to do this. Today I had two dark rye ryvitta with a banana for breakfast, 2 kippers and tomotoes for lunch and for tea I'm having stir fry chicken in brown pittas, a muller light with a mirangue(sp?!) and strawberrys. I have only had one cup of tea and will try to stick to lots of water tonight.
I have paid for twelve weeks upfront so the incentive is really there - I hate wasting money!:p
I have got another mystery shop to do today which can be completed from home, one tomorrow and two on Saturday, I am also working on Saturday morning so a busy few days for me..no time to stuff chocolate.

Best of luck with the diet TPA. Think positively - people would be more likely to do a double take if you were 15 ft7" than for being curvy!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Good luck TPA. I can't imagine you getting anything other than support here. I know i need to lose a good 2 stone. Don't set yourself up for failure though by going in too hard. Make sure you are not hungry. Good reason to not do any GAP fastfood shops if you ask me. That is what is putting me off doing any of those type of ones as i know i love that type of food and once i have a taste it is hard to then not crave more junk.
I would say, look on the bright side that you are trying to do something about it, and also at least you are tall enough. My poor aunt weighs about what you do and she is about 5ft.

Good luck with your weight loss!
Do you have an inspirational goal in mind?
My current loose weight kick was started (@ beginning of May) by getting a mini brochure for an adventure holiday company. It had a trip to Machu Picchu in Peru in it, which is somewhere I'd love to go to. The thing is... The only way I want to get there is via Inca trail - a trek that you need to be reasonably fit to do. So I need to get fit and loose all the weight. I talked about it last year but am now really motivated to actually do it! My Netbook now has Machu Picchu as its desktop wallpaper and I have a Machu Picchu pic on my fridge and in my purse too (so I see it everytime I go to spend money on something especially unhealthy foods)! My target is to do the trip ~ May 2012!
(That should give me enough time to save up for it too! :rotfl:)
Good luck!
... Taka slopes off to walk another 2 miles home! :rotfl:
PS I weigh even more!I've lost 7.75lb this month so far though! :j

Thanks everyone, you are all so kind, I thought I would post my weight and everyone would think stupid fat cow and 'dessert' me (pun intended!).
Taka, that is a fantastic goal to have. Are you dieting alone or do you have the support of a group? I need that 'step up on the scales' moment.
I will be forty in 2 years so I supose that should be a real insentive, fat n forty - not a good look for me. I also hope to have paid off the mortgage by then and go on hloiday to Vegas:eek:
Just had a lovely tea, chicken with salad and a brown pitta, then had a muller light, banana and strawberries.....I really enjoyed it (a glass of wine would hav gone down well:p) I have a bottle of Cava in the fridge if I do really well this week I will open it.
Cha, I will be avoiding the GAP fast food, which doesn't really leave a lot left for them - might as well resign:(

So far (for a whole 3 weeks lol) I've been going it alone - I've always been too embarrased to go to SW / WW / whatever meetings and none of the local meetings are held at a particularly helpful time anyway. I don't know if the web versions of SW or WW are anymore helpful than something like foodfocus (which is free) for tracking loss/food eaten etc.
I also need to be careful as I have had treatment for an eating disorder in the past (last set of treatment ended just over a year ago) so I need to loose weight /get healthy without too much pressure and not to obsess about it ( easier said than done... :rotfl:)
For May my goals are to eat proper portions of food and to walk more! I've managed to walk an extra 29.3 miles this month so far by walking part of my route home from work and going for longer walk(s) at the weekend with my Mum! (I'm only counting distances I'd normally not walk (eg distances I normally cover by bus etc) I'm hoping to hit 50 miles by the end of May if the weather stays dry enough!Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Can I join in on the weight loss thing I am tall but I have gain so much weight over the last few years. When we got married 6 years ago (its our Wedding Anniversary today) I was 11 stones now I am 13.11. My doctor says it just something that happens with age but I have never ever had to watch what I eat so never been on a diet before. I really really want to get rid of 2 stone just so I can get back to 11 something. I agree with the junk food the more you eat the more you crave it.
Anyway good look TPA let me know how you get on at your class I might join one but they do sound scary.Save £12k in 25 No 49
