Sorry ladies I'm one of those very naturally skinny folks (I'd rather be curvy) so can I be a cheerleader instead? I need to get fit for my asthma so I need to be doing more exercise...so I'm following my own little lifestyle change too! :D

OMG i commited myslef didn't i so i will have to do it now. :D I would also be happy to get to around 10 1/2 stone if we were looking longer term.

I was kind of thinking about it last night and instead of mindlessly chomping through a piece of chocolate cake i said no. I only made the thing for the boys. It is quite hard when everyone around you can chomp on what they want and not put on anything.

Wednesday weigh in would be great for me. Wouldn't have a full week to first weigh in but never mind. It would be a week each time after that. Ok. Starting weight is 171 pounds and end goal is 147 pounds like TPA and that is only a little 24 pounds so if you guys can do it then so can I.

In terms of time scale - eek that is when i struggle. I think i would like to be there by the end of August (about 17 weeks) so i can have a nice weekend away with DH when we go away for his 30th.

:D Look at that - not bad for someone who isn't good at making a commitment. I haven't weighed that little since my early 20s. 10 years of having a gut. About time i shifted it before it sticks with me permanently.

Weekly weigh in sounds good I usually do it on a Monday. Have been really good this week been to the gym 3 days in a row (2 x bodypump 1 x Pilates) and I am playing golf tomorrow.

It is funny how you imagine people look like on here I alway feel so huge as everyone of my female friends are tiny like size 0 and 5.2 thats a whole foot shorter than me. Mind you I am happy with my Scandinavian looks just hope to get rid of at least 1 stone before my 40th on the 1st August so that is by goal and I only have 2 months to do it in. 1 stone would get me almost down to 80 something kilo which is how I usually work it out.

Off Mystery Shopping tonight have to buy 2 drinks but will be good I promise.

    Hello you lovely peeps :D

Haven't been around for a while so just catching up with the thread, I'll try to remember everything I was going to comment on but my head is a bit woolly atm :o

TPA, the kitchen is gorgeous, you must be over the moon with it :j Love everything about it :j I really like the light & I love your posh kettle, good choices.

Can I join in with the weight-loss bit?? Not sure I want to divulge my weight  but I'm in the obese category & I'm 5'6". Is that the right way round?? I haven't just made myself 5 inches tall have I?! :rotfl: Anyway, have had a rotten couple of weeks & I've put even more weight on (my size 18 jeans are getting a bit snug :o) so time to get my fat backside into gear!!

I'm thinking of trying protein shakes for brekkie & lunch with a 'normal' meal at dinner time. Just thinking about it atm, haven't made my final decision, need to 'phone a friend' or 'ask the audience' :D

I know walking has already been mentioned, but I just wanted to say that I can thoroughly recommend it for helping with weight-loss, toning up & mood enhancement. I love getting out for a walk, feel like I could walk for miles sometimes (as long as there were plenty toilets en-route!! :o:rotfl:). I lost a goodly amount in time for my 40th *cough* years ago & that was through walking a few miles every week & following a low-gi or low-carb WOE. Took me about 8 or 9 months. Haven't put all of the weight back on, but the scales are inching their way back up & I think I would need to lose about 3 stones now.

Anyway, good luck everyone, sorry if I went on a bit there :o :j

Hello SS :hello:, until I started my diet my size 18s were tight & I'm the same height as you so you must be similar to me. Loving your signature, but maybe no longer appropriate :rotfl:.

It does :D I can normally do 5 of 7 days but fail at the weekends, I seem to remember that smf2 was wonderful at be AF.

I'll weigh myself tonight :o I know that I'm roughly 2stone heavier than I was in August :o

I don't drink much but I do like food too much :o I was soooooo bad yesterday - BBQ, ice cream, trifle, mini rolls (and more) - think the heat got to me:eek::) and it's sunny today too :)

I could do with losing some weight but I just don't seem to be in the right mood....
